Started our #SmallBusinessSaturday early at our FAVORITE spot on the Ave for birthday celebration for the staff at #CVS2986 !!! The food is amazing, the bartender (Jimmy) is a genius and the staff is like family !!! If you haven't treated yourself to this gem yet - do so posthaste !!! �
The Bison burger was the most delicious thing on the whole damn planet! Best meal I've ever had in my life - including the three other items I tried on the menu, and the first ever food that has moved me to write a review - let alone writing it 2 months after eating here (and failing to find where to write one). It will be the main reason I head back to Philadelphia. Go out of your way to eat here people!
The definition of casual american dining. Great service, tasty food, good portions, good vibes. Will definitely return!
We came about 8 on on Tuesday night so as you might expect it was pretty quiet. Our server Antonina was very attentive and super sweet. My wife got the tap room burger which enjoyed and I got the blue cheeseburger which to my liking had some very delightful stinky cheese! The buns were tasty and thick, the burger patty itself was well cooked, flavorful, and a nice sized portion. Each plate was $15, and this is my opinion, but a bit on the pricey side. I probably will come back but I might see what other options are out there first.
Very cool place. Great menu, great alternate vegetarian menu. Neat set up with the tables and chairs. And terrific choices with the drinks, daily updates on what's on draft, and really cool new and old choices for the mixed drinks. And our waitress - Top Notch. Kept the foods and drinks coming, and wonderfully knew what she was talking about with both the food and the drinks. The place is not pretentious, so don't bother taking anybody there you're trying to impress with appearance. But if you're taking somebody out and you want a Cool vibe, great food, great drinks and great service - - like I said before, very cool place.
Went here after a hike in the park, the server Ryan was super nice and attentive even though it was clear he was stretched way too thin. The food was GREAT, love that there are veg options of pretty much every menu item! Definitely planning to go back and try some more things. And they have coffee, we ordered some, it was good.
Excellent place for Happy Hour with 2 menus, traditional and vegetarian. The food is great (seitan wings!) and the beer list is pretty amazing. The drafts are pretty pricey but we love this place so it works out. Highly recommended Mt. Airy spot. Also, they make their own veggie burger and it's actually pretty delicious!
I love this place. As a vegetarian, it's one of the yummiest spots with an entire menu devoted to us veggies! Drinks are so good too and it's the perfect spot for lunch alone or a date night on their sweet patio. It's laid back enough to bring kids for a weekend brunch but nice enough to get pretty and meet your hunny there for a delicious meal, great music, a fun ambiance and very good cocktails, wine or beer. Great food. Great beer. Great atmosphere. What else can you ask for? This is probably the best food you can get in Mt Airy. It's just different from Earth right next door in that the food is fancier. They always have 10+ beers on draft and there are always at least four I love. The people who work here care, and adds to my love for this place.
One of the first places we tried out when moving here and we’ve always been happy with it. Pretty reasonable prices, delicious food with a pretty varied menu, and good service. They change it up every once and a while based on the season. The apple dumpling dessert is one of the favorites for us.
Not sure why service was so slow.... and a little frazzled. Delicious appetizers, especially the crab hush puppies but small serving size. Fried green tomatoes were also good. Love the veggie menu. Lamb burger was juicy but needed sauce. Awesome grilled fruit salad and veggie burger.
Great atmosphere and good food. There are only 10 beers on tap but theyre all unique crafts, so i can't even be mad! Wierdly an older crowd...mostly 50+ aged people there between 7 and 9pm while i was there. New bartender did a great job. Would definitely go back ...and bring my vegetarian friends too!
