Quite a wonderful local diner. The food was delicious and well portioned, went once for brunch on a Sunday and was pleased to see the place bustling with people enjoying the food and again for lunch on a week day where the atmosphere was a lot more calmer.
Lovely people run the place and so well priced! A complete meal and drinks for around $10 is good in my book!
I'm a regular here, because I live a block away. The staff is so kind and friendly, and the prices cannot be beat in Center City. Whenever I can, I spend my weekend brunches here. More of this is what Center City needs. Family owned, kind, personable. I could be effusive on this topic, but Sandy's is just wonderful. Only what you need at the prices you can afford, nothing else. If you want to be regaled, go someplace else. If you want a fine diner, this is the place.
The food is extremely great and usually made by hand. The staff is wonderful and the prices are really reasonable especially for the quality of the food and service. Shout out Digerati.
Pizza cheesesteak was phenomenal, the fries are perfect amount of crispy and delicious. The owner is a sweet Greek woman who is very attentive and friendly!
Sandy's is down home,delicious,and consistent! My wife,and I usually visit Sandy's after a bike ride on the schuykill river trail.The people that run Sandy's really know how to keep a great thing going! It brings back great memories,.don't change a thing!

Waitresses were exceptionally nice and all of us enjoyed our build-your-own omelets from the kitchen.
Surprisingly fast and good service given the staff to customer ratio. Food is excellent as well.
