Recipe hasn't changed since I have been in this neighborhood 30 years still my favorite and a great private area in the back for dinners
The food is great. I highly recommend this restaurant for family dining or a great slice of pizza.
Great food and service. Their Stuffed Pizza is the best I've ever had.
Very good pizza if they delivered they would dominate the comp. They still do a good job because I find myself picking up a pizza there and seeing other friends from time to time doing the same. They also have a dining area.
True Italian Pizza in NE Philly. This place is owned/operated by a family of brothers from Italy... they have a full story that is quite interesting, if you choose to converse with them. Oh, the food? Yeah - that's really good, too. Montesini's has the best lunch menu in the area.
1st time eating here today and it was GREAT!! Mozzarella sticks are so fresh, best I had in Mayfair! Cheesesteak was good, nice and cheesy! Pizza was awesome well the plain side, just had a lil too many pepperonis other than that I think I found a new place to eat with family. Worth the $60 we spent!
I ordered 5 party trays for my sons gender reveal party . chicken parm, meatballs , stuffed shells , baked ziti and chicken fingers and wings mild.
All of the food was amazing and definitely worth every penny.
Thank you so much guys.
Not to mention I have been going to this spot since I have been in grade school amazing family buisseness. 💯
Really great FOOD , kids loved the pizza 🍕 sauce was on point. Customer service was 👍🏽 ⭐ price is fair. I'd definitely recommend!!!!!
We've heard neighbors rave about Montesini and decided to give it a try. Since we were on the go and wanted something light to fill our stomachs, we opted for slices. We got the last slice of pepperoni and a slice with sausage. Overall, the ratios are nice with just enough sauce, cheese, topping. The dough has the perfect thickness. Sauce is decent not sweet slightly salty, cheese has just enough pull but not greesy. Pepperoni was decent and sausage is a bit on the saltier side. I was hoping for more from the dough. It was cooked well with a nice char on the bottom but it was dry and not very flavorful and lacked that chewy pull that I was expecting. Maybe because the slices have been sitting out for a while. Overall I come back to give them another try because maybe I just got the last slice. Give them a try and let me know what you think.

This turned out to be the weekend of Northeast Philly. After a long day Montesini Pizza was the cheesesteak to me. When did Montesini get the Montesini special cheesesteak. It comes with mushrooms, pepper, fried onions and sauce. The sauce is ladled on top. There were a lot of peppers in a cheesesteak. They gave it a lot of flavor but also gave it a lot of juice. We would have had a roll blowout but I ate the cheese steak from the bottom. This Cheesesteak had a lot of flavor, a nice nicely toasted roll but was a touch small.
I I've been going here for years a very good Italian food and pizza. Pizza is one of the best in Mayfair
This is by far the best pizza in philly in my opinion. Thin crispy crust is amazing.
I order a bacon pizza every time and always comes out perfect so try that you can't go wrong with pizza
I have been going here with my family since I was little, one of my favorite slices of pizza! Miss going every Friday since I moved out of Philly
We were a last minute group of 13 people and had excellent service from the time we got there until we left. Food, as always, hot and delicious and we were not rushed at all. I have been going to Montesini’s for over 35 years so I know how good they are. My guests from Pittsburgh wanted to try a Philly cheesesteak and of course wanted Gino’s or Pat’s. I suggested they try Montesini’s instead and they were not disappointed. I highly recommend this neighborhood gem.
