Excellent beer list. Very small but excellent beers. Small menu but again, good choices. Nothing fancy but good pub food that is out of the ordinary enough to be interesting but not unknown.
We were in Fairmount for Bastille Day and stopped at the Bishop's collar for a late lunch. The place was very clean but noisy. The staff was very friendly and fast. Great beer menu. We had pub grub but it was good and reasonably priced.

Awesome Food!. The Bishops Collar has great atmosphere, great beer and great food. I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered. The food was delivered quickly and hot. The food is always fresh and homemade. The Bishops Collar is not only a great bar, but also a great place to grab a bite to eat. I tend to go here sometimes just for the food. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys homemade sandwiches and beer.
Art Museum Mainstay!!. This place is great!! If you'd like a good beer in a GREAT area of town - then this is the place!! The Collar is a mainstay of the Art Museum area and it should be!! The bartenders (whether it is Big John, Weezy, or Pat) are very compentent, cordial, and know their way around a bar!! The Collar is your typical Irish bar - It can be crowded - because this is a very attractice haunt. The food is average - but if you want a nice night out in the A.M. Area - you'll have a good time here!
Throw back Sunday! We were in Philly so we had to stop at our old hang for lunch and it didn't disappoint! Don't change a thing! Best pint of Guinness in Philly!
Excellent place. I like when the waiters know the menu very well, providing good choices and suggestions (I really appreciate it if visit for the first time), I allow my waiter to help me choose according to his taste in the menu. Today we had an excellent guide. we enjoyed all the food. I recommend the beef stew, and beer that they suggested. A bar & restaurant to return to. The Staff is 11/10.
The service here is amazing!! The staff makes you feel welcomed and “part of the neighborhood”. Molly and Collin are the kindest humans and always are looking if you need something. Definitely recommend for a good time and a good neighborhood spot!
Visiting from out of state and I wish we had this place at home. Food and service were absolutely fabulous. The veggie wrap, no mushrooms, add steak, chicken strips, Downeast Pumpkin Cider, and the Mainfall Stout were delicious. Highly recommend!
Comfortable bar and restaurant. Steak Tip Sandwich is awesome and the staff are always super nice, attentive and generally awesome. I love to treat myself with lunch here. Oh, the drink selection is good too...
I almost forgot, they have the best fries on Fairmount Ave!!!
Dope bar! The soup was great the sours were great! Note to self: don’t play tears for fears. This regular doesn’t like it haha 😂

Had a great meal, ordered the Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls and the Steak Tip Sandwich and both were AMAZING! Also had a Bloody Mary and a new trail crisp lager and loved those as well. Service was amazing! Our waitress was Al and she was so great!! Loved it!!!
Nice place for good food, especially good Beer and a break while sightseeing Philadelphia.
Great bar, great service and drinks. Had the crab cake. Was very good.
