Just had a really satisfying lunch with Yamitsuki.
In town on a business trip and made a passing decision to pop in for food. Staff was kind and seated me at a booth as I requested. My order was taken as quickly as I set my menu down. I had the Tan Tan Ramen (spicy miso-based) with some chashu pork added and it was pretty good.
Lunch was quick, but I enjoyed my time and loved that I got out with a bowl and a drink for $20. Overall, this place is easy to recommend for a quick bite.
I dashed here one night and I was feeling the whole vibe. I wanted to go dine in but I got hungry yesterday so I ordered the king salmon roll, gyoza and ramen. Off rip, I can tell you I didn't like how you pay 17 dollars for 8 little rolls. You are not gonna get a bang for your buck just an experience. The food tasted good but I can get the same experience for cheaper somewhere else. I suggest you dine in with this place and bring a little more money.
Hey there, I just had the most satisfying lunch at this ramen joint! The prices during lunchtime were a steal, and let me tell you, the ramen was on point. The broth was flavorful, and the noodles had the perfect chewiness. However, I gotta be honest about the sushi rice. It didn't really stand out. But hey, who needs sushi when the ramen is this good, right? If you're looking for a delicious and affordable lunch option, this place definitely hits the spot!
The most delicious ramen I have ever had. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Definitely trust their recommendations! Clean, cozy. Good for lunch with friends or a unique date location.
Atmosphere: 1/1: clean and well decorated with themes of different anime shows
Service: 1/1: very welcoming, attentive and nice staff
Price: 1/1: Dinner prices were average. Their lunch specials are amazing!
Food: 2/2: We enjoyed EVERYTHING. Pork buns were soft with well seasoned/cooked meat. Their regular rolls had a decent amount of fish/avocado. Their specialty roll called Yamitsuki left you wanting more. For dessert we had the chocolate and vanilla bomba (ice cream encased in a chocolate shell) which was the perfect ending to our meal.
Overall: 5/5: I would definitely recommend to family and friends. If you come to Philadelphia don’t miss out on this delicious and affordable restaurant.
This was a great find! The ramen was super filling and really flavorful. The sushi was fresh and really well paired. And the staff were quick and very helpful. The music was really good, but not too loud and the decor is relaxing and fun.
Literally the only downside is that it's cash only and there's not a sign (that we could see) at the front. Not a big deal because they have their own ATM, but it'd be nice to know ahead of time.
I come here every time I end up in Philly. Nice spot to get lunch or dinner, they’re always friendly and play good music. The drinks taste very good.
Definitely try the steam buns, they’re my favorite thing to order here.

The ramen was good, hot and fresh. My drink was nice and sweet. My daughter customize her ramen and she loved everything she ordered. I thought the kids would have a hard time ordering food but they loved everything. And it very kid friendly. Definitely a good place to eat of with family or friends.
Employees are nice, warm and welcoming. Good came in faster than I could hope for and it was good !
Plus with lunch special you can eat for 2 and pay less than $30.
Truly, I'll be back !
Great atmosphere and good food. Very close to Japanese Ramen.
4 star due to food coming out a bit lukewarm as well as the servers forgot an order or had to keep asking if we got one of the items. The food was above average Japanese food. I got the ramen and it was okay. The noodle came out a little underdone. The broth tasted great however as I mentioned before it was lukewarm and not hot. Also got some regular sushi rolls, tuna and avocado and spicy salmon. They were okay too. Nothing special.
We had a big group (8 people) so we reserved and sat in the back. The back table was on a raised table and sat around like on a bar top. The atmosphere was great and definitely brought a fun vibe.
Overall if you want Japanese food, ramen, curry, or sushi, you can come here, but it wasn't for me. At least it had a good discount for lunch though.
