This place has a relaxed, cozy vibe and fantastic staff. Quickly becoming my favorite local spot. Great food options for lite bites and/or dinner. Service is exceptional. Beer enthusiasts will enjoy a rotating draft list and tasty bottle options.
Stopped in for Sunday brunch and we were blown away! The smoked brisket hash and chorizo tacos were outstanding, as was the beer selection. And the Bloody Mary's are slicy and delicious. We will definitely be back. Often!
Swung by The Goat's Beard for a Saturday brunch and had a solid time. Service was nice and congenial, and the interior well decorated. The menu could have been more varied, however the brunch items we tried were certainly above average. I did think the overall prices were a bit high and I didn't love my cocktail. Wouldn't specifically come back for another meal, but would visit again if friends wanted to go.
First time stopping in here. Nice place with very welcoming staff. Joe behind the bar is super friendly and helpful. Great recommendations. I had the Smoke Show pizza and it was delicious and huge. They also have a great selection of bourbon on the shelf.
In the center of Manayunk is a tiny eatery—an adorable and romantic atmosphere with candles. I was informed that this establishment is well-known for its pizza, and my friend ordered some. However, I decided against having pizza because I was in the mood for a fantastic burger. Without a doubt, I would return for the cheeseburger.
Had a great brunch. Very nice atmosphere outside and very good service. Had the breakfast burger and sliders. Excellent food and the potatoes were great as well.
Service was extremely good, our server had a bubbly personality. The food was cool, the menu options were limited to me. Overall nice experience.
Yum yum yum! The Goat’s Beard is a cozy spot for dinner, drinks, and good conversation. The service wasn’t the fastest ever but wasn’t a real problem either. The food makes up for it! My favorite dish was the TGB nuggets, which are so much more than a basic chicken nugget. The combination of honey sriracha and blue cheese is so unexpected but SO right. The cheesesteak egg rolls are a Philly classic and done right. Their Detroit style pizza is a little soggier in the center than I would have liked, but still a solid slice and absolutely perfect pepperoni. We loved their ranch too (I think it’s homemade!). Would love to come back to try the drinks and more of their dishes next time!
I’ll be back simply to continue to explore the food menu and specialty cocktails. This was my first trip and I had the TGB Nuggets and Cheesesteak Egg Rolls from the appetizer menu. My cocktail of choice was the Smashing Basil.
Had lunch at goats beard over the weekend. We were a little sad brunch wasnt on Saturday, the lunch options seemed a little on the smaller size. Outdoor seating was great and the service was incredible, everyone in my party had a great time. I ordered the white Detroit pizza and it was AMAZING! Im from the Detroit area originally and this definitely made me feel at home. The cheese crust and toppings were perfect. Sidenote: my friends who ordered the fish and chips weren’t the biggest fans. Fish was a little greasy. Besides that, I would for sure recommend the Goats Beard.
⏰if you are going on the weekend for brunch, be sure to make a reservation. They sell out of certain items consistently.
🥞 The food is delicious, especially their home fries, hot honey nuggets, and the breakfast burrito!
There is no designated parking. There are steps up to the bathroom from the bar. There is an entrance on the side that makes it so there are no stairs to get to the bathroom. However, there is a breezeway over it and it's a tight fit.
When they get swamped on the weekend, it can take up to 30 mins for you to get your food, but when you consider the floor space the kitchen needs to cover - it makes sense. Just be prepared if you have tiny humans to accommodate during that time.
Cute spot. Inside and outside dining. Inside is small and dominated by a lively bar. The outside area is more quiet and nicely sequestered from the street noise on Main Street. We had the Brussels sprouts appetizer which was quite good and a Detroit style pizza, which was good too. The service is friendly and professional but be aware that an 18% gratuity is added to the bill so no further tipping necessary unless you’re feeling generous.
