First time I went there I thought the fries guy was hooking me up. Turns out everyone gets hooked up with all the extra fries. Great burger and great fries. A little towards the pricy side which is good in a way, otherwise I would eat there every day.

An Afternoon to Remember On days when I go out for lunch, I never know where my feet will take me. Working in Center City Phila is great – so many choices – so many things to do. Today, my feet took me to 15th & Chestnut Streets. I spotted Five Guys Burgers & Fries and decided to treat myself. I ordered a burger, fries (of course), and a sugar-free drink. While I was waiting for my order number to be called (#69) I went to get the standard condiments, but there was no salt. I can’t eat fries without salt…ack! A gentleman was walking by with a cart. He obviously saw that I was looking for something. He turned to me and said, “young lady”, do you need something? OMG, he called me a “young lady” and said it with a smile! I smiled and asked for salt. He told me to go sit down and he would bring it to me. I pick up my order ($21.00 for a burger, fries, and a drink – totally worth every penny) and sat down at a table. I began to unwrap the best burger and fries, took a bite and I was in burger heaven. The man returned with salt, took my order receipt, and said, “next time you come in I’ll treat you”. I smiled and said thank you – how sweet. As I was enjoying my lunch the man returned and placed $21.00 on the table – he paid for my lunch! I smiled from ear to ear. I felt so special - my afternoon couldn’t get any better than this. Two thumbs up and a big thank you to the awesome gentleman from Five Guys.

This place is walking distance from Rittenhouse Square. Burger was good, but the Cajun fries were just ok. Packaging could be improved. Staff are friendly. Lot of place to sit and eat. Tasty food, that can be enjoyed once in a while, but regular eating will spike your cholesterol. Not an healthy option.

They always know how to make really good burgers. Kitchen staff was very fast and they were really friendly in this location. This location was also very clean if I compare with the other Five Guys in Philadelphia.

This location just reopened a few months back, and they made it very cozy! It can accommodate groups and singles. The burgers are awesome!! My first visit I was hooked! You do wait a few minutes longer than other burger places but it's worth the wait! They are cooked well done, but are so juicy! They give you a ton of fries also. This is a great meal for any appetite! Highly recommend trying! Staff when I went in the afternoon was great!

The burgers and fries are very flavorful and cooked well. The price is expensive. $12 for a burger and $6 for fries is exorbitant.

I've always enjoyed visits to 5G's. Aside from the occasion of my last visit some time ago, when focus on the front end and grill line seemed to be at a premium to non-existant, each experience delivered burgers like you'd enjoy at a private cookout. Small sandwiches like in their junior size, able to be made bigger with two patties, and all of the requisite plus toppings you'd expect. They'll even put the ketchup on for you. The bun on this trip was light and toasty, better than the mush-job at my last visit. The toppings were exceptionally fresh, especially the normally prone to wilt and turn brown iceberg affair, which I previously gave up on, chalking it up to the volume of business this door normally does on a daily basis. Also present and making more than a slight impact on my overall experience this trip: supervisors and/or managers visible, behind the line and on the floor, watching and listening for cues to provide customer service and front-line support. The order taker was a most amiable gent who made sure to inform me that toppings were unlimited so as to make sure I ordered everything to my hungry heart's desire, and to later invite me to help myself to a beverage refill on the house, performing his job, not solely for where he was, but for where he seemingly plans on going to further a promising career in any number of service oriented fields. Greetings, my friend, and a gracious hello. Gone and sadly missed are the mountains of peanuts to munch on while I waited for my order, and the shells all over the floor, the notable absence of which no doubt pandemically mandated. Also absent, and this is just me being thorough and objective, a second trash bin closer to the eating tables so a customer shouldn't have to wind around the throngs of 5G's aficionados during a busier time-frame. Just saying.😉 Thanks to one and all for a late great lunch, and for making me look forward to my next visits. Till then, keep smiling, Crew! This review is left without hesitation or solicitation, and with sincere regards. Bravo and God bless.

Despite the riff raft that usually hangs by this part of Chestnut Street this is a solid 5 Guys. Always clean, the staff is courteous and usually pretty quick. The manager seems to run a great crew and on my last visit gave me a free drink ( okay I’m probably there more than I should be diet wise 🙋🏽‍♂️) also if you have a sweet tooth milkshakes here are 🔥
