Milkshake, chicken sandwich and bacon cheese fries that were shared with friends were all a perfect compliment with each other and super good! The atmosphere was kid friendly and as well as the staff. Liked the industrial style of the place.
I love the hot chicken sandwich. I would have loved it a bit spicier for me. The salted caramel pretzel shake taste like butter pecan (which I love). I'll be back again.
Love Shack Shake!! Had brownie shake after surgery and got the spot. Lady that waited on me and my father was truly friendly and helpful.
I ordered a single shack burger like a hour ago today, a to go order. I’ve had shake shack thousand times already, first time at this location though. I have to take one star off. because the beef patty is a medium rare, but for me, I always want medium well for the burger patty. So expect to see me again tonight. I will need a refund😎Let me finish my fries and hot dog first. Staffs are nice though.
Plenty of seating upstairs. Was hoping to sit outside on the beautiful day but outside seating was filled.
The single cheeseburger was delicious and the vanilla shake was one of the best I've ever had.
Nice ambiance upstairs. Nice view of Drexel. Area to play games. Crowded. Parking difficult. Over priced. Fries n sandwich separate. Fries not that good. Nothing special about burger to cost that much. Chicken is good. Plump n juicy n crispy.
A shake shack burger is just that… a burger. I do think they’re a little overpriced, and that there are better burgers in the city.
Having said that… this location in University City is a pretty nice location and have spatious dining area on the 2nd floor.
It's what you would expect from a semi-fast food burger place.
The dine in section upstairs is spacious and well kept. There are a couple of games and TVs.
They can improve the pickup and waiting by using a microphone so that people can wait outside and be socially distanced
One of my favorite burger places. Fries are the best. Not a big fan of the chicken nuggets, but everything else is great. I wish they had more options for their hotdogs.
Great burgers, shakes and fries! Unfortunately, they’re lacking in the customer experience part. The cashier was lacking any manner dealing with customers. I seriously thought I was a McDonald, at least now McDonald have self-service order and we don’t have to deal with it.
Rather pricey for what you get, but the shroom burger was really really tasty. Fries were lukewarm / old, but they were super busy, so it's kinda forgivable. overall, I'd go back
This was our first visit to a Shake Shack, after hoping to do so many times earlier. In the past, we’d get there and find the lines way to long. This was our first visit to the University City franchise, and it was before school starts, so it was only mildly busy around 2pm.
The food did not disappoint! The burgers are phenomenal, with outstanding patties and super fresh buns, tomato and lettuce. I personally and NOT a fan of mayo, but I figured if they have their own burger sauce (Shack Sauce), I should try it. It was actually really good and made the burger unique from others. I’d recommend getting it with the sauce even if you’re not a big mayo person like me.
My daughter got the chicken nuggets, and they were great. And as expected, the shakes were outstanding.
The food prep was probably about 10 minutes, which seems a little long. But this is not a fast food burger. It’s worth the wait since everything is fresh. Think of it as gourmet fast food.
The service was very pleasant, and they had ample outside and upstairs seating when we were there.
Hope to go back again and bring the whole family next time!
