This was my first visit, to pick up gourmet chocolates featured on their website. The store was packed on a weekday morning. It was noisy and chaotic, with no obvious lines for ordering or asking questions. After searching for a while, I was able to get the attention of an employee behind the counter. She was helpful and shepherded me over to a register. They didn't have the gift I wanted. I had to settle for something else. If you love imported cheese and want a classic Philly experience, give them a try.

Never spent so much on cheese before! So many kind of cheese from different places around the world. Love the variety, they offered some unique flavors you cannot find in other stores. You can try it before you buy, wonderful store.

Such a wonderful evening! We did the after-hours private event and Jonas, our cheese monger and his assistant were amazing! Every choice was impeccable. Additionally, I am gluten-free and vegatarian, we notified them ahead of time and they were happy to accommodate. If the dish was not gluten-free they had a gluten-free substitute. I can express enough how delicious all the food was, from the cheeses, to olives, the crackers, jams, chips you name it. There were snacks, laid out upon our arrival to dig right in. Every 15 minutes or so they they brought out a tasting board with curated selections with a detailed and informative explanation. That totaled approximately nine tasting boards. In-between they opened cheeses, meats and jams for you to taste as well as anything you wanted to try. Overall it was a wonderful experience I would highly recommend. The only downside is the place is very small so it's tight, we had a party of 16. Additionally, they're is not where to sit during this experience so you will be standing the entire time.

Very nice full service shop with cheeses, some meats and other Italian items. The counter staff are very knowledgeable and seem eager to help. Di Bruno feels like an Italian Market classic that has been here forever.

The ultimate original cheese shop and Italian goods. Not to mention the staff gives incredible service and takes there time to educate you on the cheeses with samples. I travel alot and by far this is one of my favorite places in the world. Hit 9 th street and make sure you go in to see it all.

This location is smaller than the one on Chestnut St. There is a wide selection of cheeses and a small dairy section. There are many crackers, chocolates, meats and jams. It was extremely busy when I was there on a weekend. Therefore no time to taste a variety of cheese before choosing. Although the line wrapped around the small store there were plenty of employees to assist and the line moved quickly. I was looking for cheese storage paper, which they did not sell, but the cheese monger gave me extra when he wrapped my cheeses.

Omg, I love this place. So many outstanding food items and helpful, friendly staff. I come every single time I travel from out of state and it's pure delight. I've ordered online, too and nobody does a better job making sure your top quality cheeses and other items are delivered in perfect shape. This is an extraordinary business consistently delivering high quality food and service.

This place is about as real as it gets. High quality products, a staff with personality, and busy. If you want an authentic South Philly experience start here. I assure you nothing will even come close for the rest of your day possibly even life. Upon arrival there wasn't even room to walk in the door. Place was jam packed. Prepare to spend hundreds of dollars if you love cheese and cured meats. Not because it's inherently expensive but because these guys will educate you and let you try things before buying. You can't help but want to spend all of your money. This place is the Nexus of the universe when it comes to high quality cured meats and cheese!
