Prepare to spend $200 or more per person if you want appetizers, entree, dessert and drinks. The night we went, they have braised Japanese A5 Wagyu short ribs, and it was amazing!
Barclay Prime is one of the most spectacular establishments that we have ever dined at. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, so much so that you forget it is primarily a steakhouse, we loved the seats, which were very memorable! As far as the food goes, it was amazing, and the service was 5 stars as to be expected. We couldn't recommend Barclay Prime highly enough. This is a special place to dine at. It is one of the best steakhouses and most beautiful restaurants in the US.
The combination of impeccable service and delicious food made our 2 hour drive to try the Barclay Prime Cheesesteak worth it. Our server Matthew was amazing, he provided great recommendations on food and drinks. We ended up getting the cheesesteak and the olive striploin based on Matthew's recommendation.
My friends and I enjoyed a lovely evening at Barclay Prime. The wide steak selection was what brought us to the restaurant. A couple of us ordered Wagyu steaks. The Olive Wagyu steak was absolutely amazing and worth the price. From the popovers to the cocktails to the custom selection of steak knives, it was a unique dining experience. The service was impeccable. The ambience was classy but a little on the dark side (we needed to use our mobile phone flashlights to read the menu). Highly recommend. Maybe next time we’ll try the infamous cheesesteak. Don’t forget to make your reservations if you go!
The genuine Kobe was not only best steak I have ever eaten but the best piece of food I have ever eaten. Great service, gorgeous dining area. Worth every penny!
I’ve been to Barclay prime, many times. My favorite sandwich is made here. Everything is great except the bread, years ago it was made with bread from across the street and since it is now made in house. The bread just was not crispy at all. Is that something that can be requested in the future?
My girlfriends chicken was extremely tender. Delicious.
The service was amazing and my fiancé loved the ribeye steak 🥩 and the chef made a vegan pasta for me it was delicious plus the cauliflower side.

Took my wife for her Bday. We had a wonderful time. The steaks were outstanding I had the New York strip and she had the Ribeye. Our server Gabe was MARVELOUS!!!! Great atmosphere really relaxed feeling the entire time. I only awarded them four stars instead of five because I ordered the loaded baked potato and I was informed they were out of them which was disappointing to say the least. Definitely on the hirer end price wise. But we’ll worth it in my opinion. There’s also parking right close on Walnut St.
Best meal I ever had. Steak (I got a ribeye) was cooked perfectly how I wanted it. My girlfriends steak was cooked perfectly how she wanted. The sides were all amazing and shareable among 4 people (Mac + cheese, asparagus, creamed spinach, and potato gratin). The server was great. The price is well worth the food.
