Amazing food. Great staff! Quick service. I was studying at the library and heard great reviews about Jon Smith subs and I had to try it. They had a vegetarian option that tasted exactly like a Philly cheesesteak it was amazing!!
This place is absolutely amazing!!!!!!! The meat is so soft, tender, and juicy. It tears apart without any effort at all. They leave the steak nice and chunky in the sandwhich, which, leaves a great texture.while you Eat. My dog loves the steak bomb. The bread is so soft and the cookies are fantastic. Sometimes the cooks offer to heat up the cookie on the grill for me and it comes out marvelous. The staff is amazing, they are so friendly and courteous. The owners are great people; and show great customer service. If you want a good, hearty sandwich, this is where you need to go.
Was so excited to try this new sub place by the house. Finally! The location is nice, small, but cute. Very clean, and the employees are nice. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5? We both (my husband and I) got delicious subs, however, when we got home to eat after ordering take out, our fries were cold (like cold cold). Other than that, the place is yummy.
Great and superb service. The Steak and Cheese is my favorite sub. I have been here 5 times and love it. The sub is always made fresh and taste the same. The fries are delicious. The staff super friendly and the store very clean. I also ordered from their catering menu for a gathering and the platters I ordered were very nicely presented and priced to order. Everyone enjoyed it. Thank you to the management and staff for making it to order.
I had the best sub at Jon Smith’s. It was cooked to perfection and the fries were crazy delicious, and don’t forget to try the cookies!!! ALL OF THEM! The staff was beyond stellar; they were efficient and really sweet. Pretty sure I found my new sub place in Pembroke Pines. Can’t wait to return during my next visit. Thank you for the awesome food and amazing service!

A great way to get a quick lunch without the preheated/microwaved food from places like Subway. Located in a new, safe shopping center- I go here regularly.
Nice new sub place in Pembroke Pines! My 15 year old son and myself recently visited this location on Sheridan. We both enjoyed our subs. There was a little miscommunication on ordering my son's sub, but they quickly solved the issue. I ordered the Chicken Bomb which was very tasty! My son said his ham and cheese sandwich was also tasty.
The owner was very attentive to our needs. A friendly cashier took the order. I will be back with my entire family on the next visit.
I had the standard iceberg salad with lots of vegetables, good enough. I must say the tuna was delicious.They advertise the sandwiches are juicy & they are, I suspect they are high fat.Really surprised and happy with the food/ quality. Food is made to order. Got a chicken Bomb it was really good the bread was fresh and the sub was hot . Clean restaurant area.
Living in Pines, it’s hard to find exceptional service at a fast/casual restaurant. When you’re in a rush and need to pick up a delicious and hardy meal, THIS is the place to go. Not only are the employees extremely nice, but the service is SO FAST! I received my Italian sub with fries in less than 4 minutes! I found my new sub place!

Great veggie sub grilled to perfection, and the steak and chicken subs around me at other tables looked and smelled so good. But what makes this a five-star experience for me are the following:
1. They have condiments on the table in a diner-style basket containing Hellman’s mayonnaise, ketchup, three kinds of hot sauce, salt and pepper. This is important to me because I like a lot of mayonnaise on my sandwiches and at other sub shops they never give me enough mayo.
2. Clean clean clean. I checked the walls of this restaurant and they were spotless. The beverage station was organized and well kept.
Floors were light colored tile and clean.
3. Great music.
4. Good, courteous customer service on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at high noon. Also, the manager circulated the tables and checked with patrons that everything was to our liking. Excellent staff.
5. Good lighting, fresh posters and ads. This is my first time at a Jon Smith Subs and based on the posters about the “best fries, no lie” and pics of the steak sub, I’ll recommend this to my husband.
Two possible recommendations to the owner:
1. The fact that you only serve fresh sirloin and chicken, grilled on site, would be good to add to your posters. This sets you apart. I looked Jon Smith’s story up on Google and this fact impressed me.
2. As a veggie sandwich aficionado, I liked your choice of veggies on your Veggies and Provolone grilled sandwich well enough, but I’d also have liked some banana pepper slices and jalapeños, cucumbers, spinach, etc. I appreciate the young man at the register offered the sandwich hot or cold. Your sandwich tasted great!
All in all, kudos for being the best sub shop in Pembroke Pines.
