After watching Bridgerton, I was stoked to go for afternoon high tea at a cute spot...and Madeline was it!!!
This place exceeded all expectations in terms of food, ambiance and service. Everything was top notch! I came in with lower expectations but left with a great impression.
Parking is 2 hours on the streets but my server let me know that the parking lot right behind the place was free.
The tea selection was absolutely delightful with plenty of options to choose from.
For food, they have vegan options which is awesome! I like my meat so I didn't order from that menu but there are also 3 different sets to choose from. You can opt for one set but add $28 to share. This means you get two teapots of choice, two soups and two scones. The rest are just one set but definitely shareable between two people.
My two favorites were the scones and the crab cakes!! I definitely wanted seconds for both.
Now on to decor...wow it was so beautifully decorated inside the place. I thought I was in Paris on a fine summer day sipping tea and catching up with a friend.
They also had someone playing the harp which upped my experience another notch.
My server was so kind and offered me a little something extra because I was still hungry. I didn't catch her name but Thank you for the amazing service and recommendations!
Beautiful place in town for afternoon tea. I love the vibe and its beautiful decorations. The food is good too and served with plenty sweet and savory bites. Great service.
What a pretty place for a small event in Pasadena!

I love the old work environment, the decor and when I saw the harp, wow, I was totally impressed. The food was a long time coming but it was fresh and tasty when it came. It was well presented and i felt that the time was taken to prepare the food for me. It's an expensive experience if you want a filling experience but I would expect at least cloth napkins. In spite of the grand old world charm the touches of plastic, like the runners on the tables outside tables and the huge plastic candy bowl were tacky. The harpist is a good touch but she was not enchanting The service and attendance were good. I would return as I would like my granddaughters while visiting, to experience the old world charm.
absolutely delicious! i took my mom here for a belated mother’s day tea, and we had a wonderful time.
Really pretty inside. I went for a baby shower and all the servers/managers were very nice and helpful. It has a very Alice in Wonderland feel with beautiful decor and everything looking picture perfect.
A very pleasant 1st experience of High Tea, though the other 7 members of my party had all been here before.
Some of my party wrote their Sunday-go-to-Meetin' clothes with Fascinators, others wrote casual street clothes.
The wait staff was knowledgeable and patient, given my party's slight disorganization.
