Excellent fish and chips. The batter was extremely light, almost a tempura batter, and the portions of fish was good for the price.
Burying these lovely beauties in tartar sauce is a travesty that should be punishable by death. Just a little malt vinegar is all you need.
Also had the thai green chicken pasty. Was very good and the pastry wasn't too heavy.

One of the best places we ate during our stay at PCB. The food is wonderful. I ate the fish and chips and had a peach pasty w vanella ice cream for desert. Incredible. Small place w not the 2 hour waits like many of the others. We will definitely go back!
Stopped in for lunch and had coconut shrimp and curry chips to start, followed by haddock with chips and slaw for me and a spicy black bean burger for the teen. She rated the spicy 7 out of 10 and enjoyed it. Waitress and hostess were very attentive and sweet, and the food came out fast and piping hot. Definitely recommend!!
Delicious! We tried both the haddock and the cod. The cod was our favorite. They had poutine wanted to substitute for the chips but we ordered the special so no substitutions. They do sell a side a gravy so I had that and the server brought a little cheese over, so I got my poutine and it was yummy! Coleslaw is creamy and good! The chips are hand cut soooo good! Definitely recommend! Plus you get to dine with the Queen! 😂
The food was excellent. Something different on the beach. The Shepard's pie was the real deal (white dish) The burger (all day burger) was also good. Another meal enjoyed was the fish and chips which are the most popular they said. Had a sample and it was good. Fries are yummy. Quirky atmosphere, (some pictures shown) Will eat here again. Also several British Beers.
Great small restaurant. A little hard to get into due to its location and has a small parking lot. They recently changed the name to Temperley’s. Which is the owners last name. They have 2 food trucks with the same name as well. Friendly staff as well. The food was really good and came out rather quickly. The tuna BLT was cooked to perfection and the sliders were fresh and hot. Chips were crunchy and awesome. You cannot make changes to the sliders. Overall a great meal.
(Blackbeard's BLT)The food is amazing! The fried appetizers were perfection. I've yet to be at another British themed restaurant that got the authenticity of the batter correctly. Excellent service and the staff was really kind. If you like small, comfy, hole-in-the-wall diners, I'd definitely recommend it.
Exceptional British fare. Staff was beyond nice and helpful. Do yourself and family a favor while in PCB and order some fish and chips. You won’t be disappointed. I believe Elizabeth II, by the Grace of God, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith would agree with my review.
Great food. If you want to go off the beaten path and try something different, you need to go. Burgers are great. You will not find these combinations anywhere else I know of. We had the burgers and pasty. Also the desserts were great. Have to try the waffleberry pasty. Cool building and staff is great.
This was a great place. They had the best fish and chips and coleslaw I've ever had. The service was outstanding and our waitress was beautiful.😁 I definitely plan on going back many times since I'm here until atleast December.
This place was very good, you have a wide range of plates to order and definitely it’s a must try if you are nearby. They have English food as well as some American dishes. We ordered the corn nuggets and they were surprisingly tasty.
The burger was ok, the meat was actually very good but overcooked in my opinion.
Good food, good atmosphere & good people! Hands down the best fish and chips we've eaten. I had Cod and husband had Haddock. We normally don't care for coleslaw, but their recipe is awesome. Likewise, the chips were perfectly cooked with just the right crispiness. We drove from Dothan, AL (business) to PCB for a day trip and this restaurant was the cherry on top. We will visit this place again before we return to our home in Texas to once again experience the comfortable atmosphere, friendly owner, hostess, and fantastic food. Thanks Eat My Pasty!
