At first this place was going to get rated a 3 because, the crust was over cooked a little and there was nothing that jumped out about it. However the more I ate, the more the ingredient quality really stood out and the overall fresh taste make this one of the better pizzas in the general area.
My brother is one of the 3 owners here, I'm not bias when saying this, they probably have the greatest pizza in town. Pizza tastes superb everytime!
This restaurant is superb, not only is the food delicious, but the service is excellent. I take my Dad here once a week. We are going here for our pizza, and all our Italian cuisine from here on in. All the employees are very nice as well.
Great food and excellent price. Best pizza in town.......... We have ordered a various combinations over
the years and never left hungry. Sauce is home made thick and zesty....... Portions are enough for two
meals regardless of your appetite.............
We love this place. Another great go-to place for pizza and Italian! We've had the spaghetti, meatballs, baked ziti, pizza, baked penne and more. Great and friendly service. Our faves are the baked dishes and the pizza, but all of it is good and their prices are totally reasonable for the huge portions. The dining room is comfy. You will see a steady stream of customers coming in to pick up to go pizzas the whole time you are there.
Hidden gem.. This place is delicious. We came here as a second choice, and I am so glad we did. The prices, food, and the service was spectacular. Eat here now.

Consistently great Italian food.. I grew up around Italian food and, as a kid, was surrounded by so many wonderful places where I could get pasta, pizza, or hero sandwiches. Then I moved to the Midwest, where pizza was tomato sauce and Provel cheese on matzos. After a decade of that, I began an odyssey of salt water and good food. When I moved to the Daytona Beach area, my quest for civilization was met by Genovese! The food tastes like the Italian food we had back home. Here, I can get a fabulous Sicilian pie, made to order! They didn't even know what a Sicilian pie was west of the Mississippi River. Oh, the sauce! I can get minestrone, a meatball parm, calzones! I'm in heaven here!

Fantastic. Great service and great food. Had pizza one night and then decided to dine in. I love that they give you the option of salad, soup, OR garlic bread. Garlic bread is really, really good. Crunchy toasty delicious bread, and just the perfect amount of garlic and cheese. Got the lasagna and gotta say be prepared to eat a lot. Excellent sauce and perfectly cooked pasta. Will definitely retunr next time we go to Ormond
Got pizza delivered to hotel. It was very good pizza. Prices were not bad.
First night in town for our family vacation, we were looking for dinner. After doing a search on google maps, looking for a Stromboli, we came across Genovesa Italian Café. About 7:15pm on a Saturday, our party of 6 was seated right away. We found the staff friendly and informative about the menu choices. We ordered garlic cheese bread, Italian wedding soup, medium pepperoni pizza, meat Stromboli, cheese calzone, meatball parmesan sandwich and sausage with green pepper and onions. All of the food was fresh and the quality was amazing. The one thing that we did find disappointing is everyone’s food came out at the same time except one. This was addressed by our waitress, saying that his food will be right out, but after we were halfway done with our meal, the food was still not out. It did come out shortly after it was brought to attention again and he was not charged for his meal. Overall, I would recommend Genovesa Italian Café, if you are in the Daytona Shores Beach area.
ordered a pizza for delivery. staff was friendly, came within an hour, and food was pretty damn good. We have a condo here and visit often, so we will be calling them up again in the future. WAY TO GO GENOVESEEEEEEEE
