Great food. Fresh, the way it’s supposed to be. The food took a little long to get to us, but it was worth the wait. They had a great Blues/Jazz band when we went. Music was at the right volume. Chill ambience. They have a restaurant seating area and a lounge area that’ll make you feel like you’re at home. The host is very friendly and hospitable. And the prices are really affordable. Will be going back soon.

Great spot! The restaurant just opened back up recently and I ran into the owner as he was setting things up. He’s an exciting person to be around and makes great food. While I was here there was an ice carver who created a nice sculpture. There’s a lot more here that I didn’t get a chance to do. Definitively looking forward to returning.

The atmosphere here is amazing people are great ,food is even better highly recommend this place just looking for a bite or a place to have a wonderful dinner, they have a lounge if you just want to chill with friends and have drinks, and they have pool tables, darts in the back. I'm glad I found this place and definitely going to spend more time here

The food was hot, fresh and delicious. The owner Lance was very friendly and took great care of us. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Plenty of seating options including comfy couches and chairs where you can relax and hang out. The hours of operation were pretty erratic when they opened but Lance says they'll be open regularly now. Definitely will be going back. Worth visiting!

My boyfriend and I just moved to the area and found this great spot by chance. The food is delicious and the vibe is unmatchable! The owner is so nice and hospitable. They have poker tables, beers, cigars, and comfortable outdoor seating. I highly recommend the New Orleans corn on the cob and the empanadas with the chefs special sauce! We will definitely be returning to this spot!

2023 EDIT: I unfortunately think this restaurant is permanently closed. The hours on Google have always been wrong, so it doesn’t say they are closed but I drive past the building almost every day, it appears to be abandoned. From the second you walk in, you are treated like family. Lance is great and so friendly, his wife is equally as nice and friendly. The food is out of this world. We had the chicken empanadas, Michigan hot dog, kielbasa, and the chicken wings. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Lance has some great stories. Overall amazing experience, highly recommended & we will most definitely be back. 10/10!!

HIDDEN GEM!!! lived in this neighborhood for years and finally went tonight and wish I would have gone sooner. Met Lance and his wife and they were beyond hospitable. Place was super clean and full of fun decor. Lots of lounge space to hang after dinner. The food was AMAZING. I might have a new addiction to empanadas and my guy got an amazing dog, we are already planning on going back.

Delicious food- we had wings and the veggie burger. 10/10 would recommend. The atmosphere was homey with a movie playing and cozy decor. The owner, Lance, was attentive and made sure to check in on us often. Not very many customers were in and I think it might be due to irregular hours, so just be sure to call beforehand to make sure they are open! Would definitely recommend a visit!

Sometimes, you find a place that really can't be explained. It fits no formula; no standardized mold; no frame of reference that any one experience you can compare it to. I have eaten at unforgettable Hot Dog shacks, enjoyed a stiff drink at a local cigar lounge, and met a "crazy guy" at a local dive bar that turned about to be a really amazing and storied individual. I've enjoyed homemade cooking that no restaurant could ever compete with, had local favorites that you can't find anywhere else, and eaten some pretty incredible ingredients that you would never think would go together. Lance's is a series of all of these experiences all rolled into a culinary event. Lance is that crazy guy. He'll tell you about his various epicurean exploits serving food for presidents and celebrities all while caring for the downtrodden and needy, give you the curious history behind every single thing on his menu, and sit with you and just kind of muse about life. While the more shy diner might find this a bit off-putting, I found Lance to be a man that is passionate about everything he does - and I found that passion endearing. Lance's wife is the kindest woman I've possibly ever met. Her English is a bit limited, but our table was bilingual so we got to enjoy her company as well. When I asked if they had any lemonade on their menu, instead of saying "no," she simply went into the back and handmade some Colombian lemonade with fresh squeezed limes and lemons. Lance himself was floored when he was taking our order and she came out with glasses of a drink he didn't even know she could make. He grabbed a glass for himself before he was done taking our order. Speaking of taking our order, the ordering experience at Lance's is not your standard "look at the menu, point at the picture" ordeal. No, at Lance's, Lance will give you a spiel about every single thing he makes, from the incredible Michigan Dog (with Raspberry Wasabi Mustard!) and his Deep Fried Kielbasa to the Rajun Cajun Corn on the Cob he learned to make when a Louisiana man would bring him in shoeboxes full of corn after Hurricane Katrina. There is a makeshift menu of items on a chalkboard when you walk in, but it's almost akin to dinner suggestions, not items. My table ended up eating a little bit of almost everything Lance and his Wife offered up, from Colombian Empanadas, to the aforementioned Michigan Dog and Kielbasa, even some pretty stellar beer battered onion rings (of which we actually watched Lance make the batter in front of us). The food was, without a doubt, unforgettable in the best way possible. The oddity of the Michigan Dog with its unconventional toppings, felt like it was going to be a novelty at best; yet it was one of the most enjoyable parts of the meal. Hands down, of course, the Deep Fried Kielbasa was the star of the show - only to be topped by that delicious lemonade. Again, Lance's really isn't like anywhere I've ever been before. And as a man who has actively eaten his way through most of Florida for nearly 30 years, I would call that a major compliment. Lance's might be a bit of an acquired taste to some, but it will likely be an enjoyable, unique experience for all.

This has been on my list to try for a while and I’m glad I finally made it in! We stopped in for a late lunch. The owner and chef came and introduced himself and told us about the menu, the ingredients he uses, and his background. Very nice guy who obviously takes a lot of pride in what he does and does it very well! We opted to try garlic Parmesan wings, I ordered a Michigan dog, and my boyfriend ordered an Italian sausage. Everything is cooked to order and it’s well worth the wait. The garlic Parmesan wings were delicious and the homemade sauce is very flavorful and tasty. The Michigan dog is one of the best hot dogs I’ve had. It’s huge, has a good snap and flavor, and the meat sauce on the top is amazing and has such a good depth of flavor. The space itself is really cool, too. There are a lot of neat decorations and much of it is focused on music which I loved. Beyond the dining room and bar area, there is also a lounge area with TV, xboxes, and comfy areas to sit and play games and then there’s also another space to play pool and hang out. They have bands on weekends sometimes. The whole place felt like being welcomed into someone’s home and provided delicious meals and great hospitality. If you haven’t stopped in yet, you definitely should!

Great new space. Simple but gourmet menu. Food was terrific. Who knew corn on the cob could taste like that.
