Tom + Chee

I had the Mac n Chee Sandwich and it was great. I got a side of loaded potato soup that was rather small. I expected more for what I paid. The best part of the meal was the Bananarama donut grilled cheese. It was one of the best tasting things I’ve ever had!

Went here for the first time and tried a little bit of everything! It was all delicious, especially the grilled mac and chee. Not quite 5 stars due to the cleanliness of the place and the prices were pretty high. It's definitely worth a try though!

Pretty good. Had the ham and cheese with pot pie soup. Wife had Swiss on white with Tomato soup. All was good but the soup portion was very small. Service was fast and staff was polite. Would come back.

Sandwich and soup were very good. Service was fast and staff was friendly. Store was empty, so that may have helped fast service.

I've wanted to try this place for quite a while, and now I wish I hadn't put it off for so long. We ordered a bit of a sampling of the menu, and found it all quite flavorful and well made. I wasn't enamored of the grilled cheese donuts for dessert, but that is just a matter of taste. The soups were all very enjoyable (we tried four different ones), and I was especially shocked, in a fast food place, to receive real metal spoons and ceramic bowls. I was expecting those silly little white plastic soup spoons that are a pain to eat with. It was actually quite civilized. The staff was very friendly and patient at the counter, as we asked a ton of questions about the rather eclectic menu of grilled cheeses. They were equally attentive after we sat down, and after quickly bringing out our food. I was particularly impressed by how well they handled a minor mistake by the order taker. It was hardly his fault, as I'm sure that my onslaught of questions had him well confused. When we discovered a missing key ingredient from one of the sandwiches, they didn't balk and point out that we hadn't paid for it (we hadn't). They simply told us to enjoy the sandwiches we had, and they happily (and quickly) remade the sandwich correctly, giving us the choice to eat the mistake and take home the correct one, or vice versa. Their menu will require several visits to be able to try the many tempting options, and since it was quite affordable, I'm looking forward to doing just that.
