We have been to Tabi-Ji once before. The host was great and funny and welcoming. And our chef was great.
The food was yummy and it is ways fun for all of our family.
The whole feel as you walk in is almost like you are visiting family.

The food here is amazing 10/10 worth every single penny. The host Jason is one of the funniest people I’ve ever met and the server Sarah was one of the nicest and kindest servers I have ever met. The service was quick, but not rushed and just enhanced the experience that much more. The overall atmosphere here is casual, somewhere where you can really just go to enjoy the amazing food and the friends or other people you go with. I got the dinner for two and I can tell you hands down best shrimp tempura and sashimi I’ve had in a long time. The fried rice was out of this world too. Now I may say that I’ll definitely come to a place again, but this one here is a 100% guarantee must come back.
This place is incredible every time we come. It's relatively inexpensive, and the fish is as fresh as it gets in the states. The owner and the sushi chefs are friendly, fun, and humorous. The famous place down the street may have more flair, but you are certainly going to pay for it.

Great good at reasonable prices. Nothing fancy. Hibachi style. Believe they have regular sit down available also.

Last week I had lunch at Tabi-Ji Japanese Cuisine Restaurant in Costa Mesa and let me tell you it was super super super delicious 😋 We ordered the Tabi-Ji Special Lunch for two and it was like a personal food buffet at your table. For $30 we got a salad, soup, beef teriyaki, shrimp tempura, fried gyoza, chicken teriyaki, and sushi... there’s some other things you can choose from but you will enjoy anything from the special menu. It’s a must visit in Orange County 🍊
