The study rooms are free to be reserved online and unlocked with your mavcard, but I've sometimes found people already in the study room I reserved because those doors get left open. Otherwise the cafe is good (although pricy) and people are great at respecting the quiet floors. Basically the higher the floor the quieter you need to be. I'd recommend study rooms C-F because H, J, and G I believe have clear doors facing the main hallway. C-F at least face a more secluded hallway just for the study rooms!

Loving using UNO library for a quiet place to study. Cafe is great as well. It is clean, quiet, and internet works great. While it always seems like there are plenty of people there, it never feels crowded. I would highly recommend Criss Library to anyone.

This is a great library and I think it does the open concept fairly well. Having the cafe in the back of the library was a smart design choice -- it keeps the main work area and floor quiet. It's a great place to study and usually not too busy. The white boards are a good place for group study or drawing sessions.
Librarian was very helpful. A large category of the books we were searching for. It was clean and quiet.
Been studying here for a long time. First for associates and again for a bachelor's. Really hasn't changed over the years, best place in Omaha to study.

I have spent 15 hours in this bookworm heaven for the past 2 weeks and I daresay, it is fabulous. They have a whole section on machine learning texts that most places around Nebraska do not have. The librarians were very helpful when I asked about obtaining a library card as part of a college partner program since I go to Hastings College normally. It was free and took less than 5 minutes.
I always sit by the giant Jun Kaneko piece facing the busy road. The massive glass windows provide a very lit workspace along that side of the building. There's a lot art exhibits inside of the library to look at if you get bored of studying and a ton of Pokestops nearby if you need a break! Just don't scream with excitement when you catch your Weedle. Apparently, people do not care.
