Fast easy buffet walk in get a plate start eating and they bring your the drink of choice. They bring the bill to you and cash you out. All the food was good. For 8.99 it's pretty cheap.
It's a cheap buffet - the food is alright, the owners are generally friendly but sometimes yell back and forth across the restaurant, at length, while diners are present.
There are frequently families present with ill-behaved children. Not the restaurant's fault, but other inconsiderate diners definitely ruin the atmosphere. Screaming kids with lousy parents who completely ignore them are present around 50% of the time, to the extent that I usually get takeout rather than dining in.
This was second time going to a buffet since lock down. This is not a very large buffet and the selection is very small. Went on a Friday and was surprised there wasn't any seafood such as shrimp or fried fish. But what they did have was very very good. The crab rangoon and wonton dumplings are probably the best from a buffet I've ever had. Other food was okay and the price was very reasonable.
I LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! ITS SO GOOD!!i tried the crab rangoon and they are better than anything that I have ever had before. I will order this every single day for the rest of my life! RIP my bank account.
The only thing I can say bad is don't come right after lunch rush as there options were limited. There hot and sour soup was fantastic if not also a fresh batch, what food I could get was good.
This is a small place, however, the food is good and the price is superb. The food could be kept a little hotter but other than that it is a nice experience. My husband and I both enjoyed the food. We went shortly after they opened at 11am so they were still putting out the buffet food but by the time we finished our first plate the rest was out.
There were no crunchy noodles I like them in my soup. Didn't have signs for the food, what I got was good. The chicken wings were fried way too much. The crab Rangoon we're made into a pocket I liked it.
We really enjoy the food from China Star (crab rangoons are a favorite), and the portions are always very generous, but the packing of carryout/delivery orders could use some improvement. It isn't unusual to have something spill at least a little. This time, one of our main dishes spilled badly because the lid crushed a little, to the point that the bottom container was sitting in a puddle of sauce and we had trouble getting it out of the bag without making a mess. Maybe pack fewer items in one bag and use a second bag?
For a hole in the wall Chinese place, the food is great, and the prices are fantastic. Highly recommended! Try the crab Rangoon before dismissing them, they look different but taste fabulous.
