My husband and I ordered fried chicken and fish. We both agreed, this little business deserve 5 stars. home-cooked and prepared fresh-to-order. They have such great food and reviews, I'm surprised they aren't bigger.
I had the catfish it was so much I ate it for two days delicious sides, greens cooked to perfection, macaroni and cheese out of this world.
Had breakfast. Delicious . Bacon was right. Grits was good.

I'm from New Orleans, I came into town for the Bud Crawford fight and was looking for a good local owned spot to hit up. I made a good pick coming here. Miss Lonnell and her people are real nice, the food is real home cooked food.
Friend's from Denver, CO had breakfast at Lonnells on Sunday morning. Fantastic!! Great food, owner friendly, kind, and business atmosphere with an Southern feel. We'll be back next year for Omaha Day. Thanks again. Glenda

This by far is the BEST soul food in town. The oxtail dinner with mac-n-cheese are my favorite. The breakfast also satisfying. This is a must if your looking for old fashioned down home soul food!
Food delicious 🤤, staff friendly, I love the oxtails. Yams are great, mashed potatoes awesome, I also enjoy the pork chops and meat loaf dinners. If you want soul food 😉 come here.
