I've seen sushi trains places online and always wanted to try it. I am so glad that we have one in Omaha. It's quick, it's fast and delicious. The service is amazing and the servers are very nice. I was a little worried about sitting at the end of the train line, but there is so much food. It's enough for everyone. If you can, order a specialty roll that comes out on the top train. It's entertaining and fun way to get your food.
This is a fun place to eat. Most of the dishes are cold dishes but there are a few hot items to order on the menu. The different color plates indicate the price of each plate.
My daughter and I happened to find this place on a recent trip. We absolutely loved it! The sushi was so fresh! The small sampler plates are you a great way to be try new things without having to order a whole order.
I loved the nigiri and sashimi, my daughter loved the rolls!
They keep track via colored coded plates. We didn't spend any more than we would have off a regular sushi menu.
We loved it so much, we went back the next night for dinner again!
Food was good, some of it wasn't quite what I expected flavor wise, and I feel like the portion sizes could be a bit bigger for the price of each plate, but the service is fantastic and I absolutely LOVE the atmosphere! There truly is no better eating entertainment experience than a sushi train aside from like hibachi. The train is fun to watch and easy to get what you want fast with no wait for the chef to cook it.
Tonight?, I ate from the train. My server was personable and friendly. She read my mind when I wanted to order something special, needed a drink and a fork for dessert. The food was fresh and tasty. Good variety. I arrived early and had no wait. Worth the price to sample many dishes.
I lived in Japan 15 years ago and when I heard something like this was coming to Omaha, I flipped. It's so close to being like Japan!!! I've been there pretty much every week since I found out about it. There is a cash and card option so if you want to save a dollar or two from the CC charges, bring cash.
Food was excellent with amazing flavor. Server could have been more attentive. Recently remodeled, very clean.
There are a growing number of places to get sushi in Omaha, and initially I thought the train was just a gimmick to compensate for lower quality sushi, but I was wrong! The food was really, really good...very fresh tasting. The wait staff was helpful and exained the ordering process to me (the newbie). The train works similarly to dim sum where the kitchen puts a variety of options on small plates which are color coded by price. You take what you want, and they up the plates at the end. My daughter and I thought it was great!
Fun place with cute decor. The sushi train and rotating sushi case is always a good time! Kids love it! Price is determined by the color of plate that the food is served on. We each had a beer (glasses are not chilled), I ate sushi, he had pad Thai. Cocktails are $7.
Casual attire, attentive wait staff. Food is good, but Baker’s has better sushi. Fun for small plates w friends!
This was our first time here, and we had the Yaki Udon with chicken and the Yaki Soba with beef. They were delicious and light. One of the drinks we had was the Fiji apple Moscow Mule. It's was very refreshing and delicious. We also tried the sushi train. Wished they had dessert dishes on the train and more options for sushi. But overall it was a very good experience. Our server was friendly and informative.
