The best tortes your gong to find in the area. Didn't remember what a torte was untill I tried it here. The bite, the taste, Wow! Now I remember. I have had tortes before, but not as good as here.

Torte!. The Lithuanian torte is a really delicious multi-layered pastery cake with cream and apricot layers - a dessert that you have to try at least once in your life. The lunch menu features hearty, homestyle foods with fresh rye bread.

Absolutely delicious. Chicken and wild rice soup with a Reuben sandwich.

I love trying new places, this one was a gem. I ordered the special, German Goulash with potato salad. Comfort food at its best! It is not very big and even though it was just after lunch when I can, there was a fairly constant stream of people. Service was excellent and the food was also. There is ample parking and the bathroom was very clean.

I have enjoyed dining at the Lithuanian Bakery & Kafe spanning 17 years. It regularly offers a casual and atmosphere where you can choose from an assortment of sandwiches, soups and desserts.

Friendly bakery. Their number one seller is their torte, but it must remain cold so we were unable to purchase it as we had to go elsewhere after. Instead we tried the apple pastry and the cherry pastry. Both were good. The inside setting is not that inviting, but it's ok if you are looking for a quick meal with no frills. The display case did not have that many assortment.

Great little bakery. Picked up a loaf of pumpernickel bread which was amazing.

Ah, the smells as you enter... awesome authentic food. Love the traditional foods and the little things you can buy to make your kitchen happy. Love it.

Not fancy, but simple and delicious. Menu includes house made soups; sandwiches on fresh bread; sausages-knackwurst, bratwurst, kielbasa; tuna, chicken and egg salads; pickled vegetables, saurkraut and amazing pastries. My husband loves soup. His favorite here is the beef barley. The soup list on the chalkboard changes with the seasons but offers 4 or 5 kinds. Once they run out of your favorite for the day you are out of luck. Dont worry, husband has tried most of them and hasn't found a bad one yet. My favorite is grilled ham and cheese or chicken salad sandwich. This is a casual, friendly, place with loyal patrons. Known for the rye bread and their tortes especially the napoleon.

Everything is delightful about this place. The sunny, spartan decor leaves room for enjoyment of the delicious food. We got pastries and coffee, but there is a full lunch menu. The service was attentive, quick, and friendly. They also sell retail European food products and bakery goods. Nothing to not like about this perennial Omaha favorite.

I love this local place! I know it doesn't sound exciting, but their veggie sandwich is so, so, good. And their fruit rafts *chef's kiss*. Plus, getting a torte is always a show stopper at parties. Check them out if you haven't already!

My one and only go to place for bread and pastries for a little over a year now! They also have German chocolates, jams, coffee, etc. I have yet to try the Napoleon torte, but I already heard it is delicious!
