Artisan pizza by the slice or whole pie. Tried the pepperoni and slice of the day, meatball. Husband got the Chicago style Italian beef sandwich.
First of all, one slice is more than enough. Huge foldable New York style slices. Crisp crust all the way to the point, no soggy middle found here. The garlic sautéed onions added a whole other layer of flavor to the meatball. The acidic tomato sauce with the garlicky onions and slices of meatballs is delicious.
The pepperoni was filled with cupped pepperoni crisp on the edges. It would have been my favorite if I hadn't tried the meatball.
Husband raved about the housemade giardinard on his juicy Italian Beef. Not too spicy but flavorful. Served dipped or toasty.
Fun local place with 90's hip hop blasting through the sound system. If that is not your thing you can grab slices to go from the walk up window. Try this pizza if New York style crust is your Omaha quest.
AMAZING pizza!!! Went with the hubs and the kiddo and both devoured!! We got the hot honey pepperoni and was probably the best pizza we’ve ever had. I think I’m gonna come back tomorrow because I’ve been thinking about how great the pizza was ever since we left!! Oh and the slices are HUGE!! And they don’t skimp on the pepperonis!!

I find their simpler pies are the most rewarding, which is true of most good pizza. They are a bit pricey but I think it's worth it for the taste. Good pizza is something that takes finesse. I will say I wish they had better hours, I'm sure the owner has a good reason but it would be nice if they stayed open to at least 10 pm. They seem to close at 8 pm.
Yeah, you can get a good pizza but can you get a really amazing pizza? You can at Virtuoso Pizzeria I’m mean All the way to the crust was lacking no flavor!
Great customer service, and the meatballs omg are cut up for a perfect even bite ratio and a right blend of flavor that just complements the pizza.
I recently moved to Iowa and have been on a quest for the BEST pizza in Iowa, someone mentioned to try Virtuoso's in Omaha. Ordered the "Fat Tony" $33, a little pricey for a 16 inch pie, but was worth it. Pizza is topped with meatballs, pepperoni, ricotta cheese and a couple other flavorful ingredients. Coming from the pizza capital of the country, New Haven CT, I find it's very hard to compare any pizza to New Haven, until now. This pizza was thin crust, sauce was just right, meatballs were awesome, all the ingredients blended together just right, reminded me of back home in New Haven.
There is not a better local restaurant than this. The dipped Italian beef sandwich is possibly the greatest sandwich I’ve ever tasted. And the pizza? Absolutely unreal. Whether you live in Omaha or are from out of town give this place a try you won’t be disappointed. The owner David is a down to earth human and you can’t help but respect everything about this business. Wish I could give more stars.
This pizza was absolutely delicious. First time I've ever had it. We placed an order and thought wow that's expensive, but that's because I underestimated the size of the 20" pizza. One slice of was plenty filling, you could easily get 5-6 people on this. I definitely can't wait to go back and tryout different things.
Walked in to smiling faces and a warm greeting that immediately made us feel comfortable. We found a table and ordered our meal and after a few minutes of letting us get into our meal I'm guessing the owner came and made sure everyone and everything was good. Food was amazing and service to match. Great atmosphere and great people. Definitely recommend trying them out, you won't be disappointed!
This might be the weirdest review but oh well. I never review anything but this changed my entire outlook on a good pie.
OHHH MY GOD!!!! Genuinely this might be the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life!! Let me tell you when I opened the box to unveil that pizza with the spicy honey… WOW!!! Just the look of the pizza alone is stunning! I felt like I was unboxing a present! The flavor was incredible and you can really tell that David cares about what he does. You can taste the authenticity and the passion! Last thing, I actually teared up a little bit when I grabbed a second slice from pure joy that I got to eat another slice.
