Cutest, charming, unpretentious, and yummy, this is THE best place to get a breakfast bagel sandwich or an awesome handcrafted sandwich for lunch. The staff is friendly and down to earth. The outdoor seating is plentiful and every bit as charming as the upstairs room in this house-remodeled little shop. I've been coming here for years and loving it, but almost didn't leave a review for fear that this beloved place might become too popular and crowded!
What makes makes a great sandwich is the bread, and they’ve got it. Also the sandwich combos were balanced amazingly. Gotta try.
What a cute little sandwich place, housed inside of a log cabin. Fantastic sandwiches, friendly service, and lovely patio with patio furniture and picnic tables. Enough room to spread out a blanket and have a real picnic. The Chicken salad sandwich was amazing, I opted to have it on a baguette, rather than in a wrap, it was outstanding. Good size sandwiches at a reasonable price. Recommend.

Homey atmosphere, awesome sandwiches, and plenty of creative salads!
I ordered the smasher sandwich and it was very good. There food is pricey for deli sandwiches but if you're craving one for lunch then you might as well. Staff is very nice as well. I'll be back for sure.
Wow. Tried a roast beef sandwich and a turkey sandwich and was absolutely blown away by both. The roast beef was really as good as I'd hoped, but the turkey with avocado on it was the best turkey sandwich I've ever had. The staff was also very friendly and the outdoor seating is wonderful. Prices are so fair that I was actually surprised at what my bill was when paying.
Cool little place with a “mom and pop” type feel. The staff was extremely friendly and the food came out relatively quick. They have plenty of outdoor seating. I wish they served breakfast all day but I will definitely be coming back
Jacked Up roasted sandwich without onions is fantastic! Egg salad sandwich without onions is also fantastic. Highly recommended this place.
I've loved this place for awhile and it was massively busy when I went the other day — so glad to see it! The Hottie sandwich is like Thanksgiving on a roll with turkey, arugula, brie, and cranberry. Phenomenal and puts you right to sleep :)!
Update August 2023. Sunday morning. Excellent breakfast special plus coffee. (Properly-cooked scrambled eggs, delicious, sesame bagel slightly well-done, sliced VA-baked ham, acceptable potatoes.) Best in town. Two of us shared and it was plenty. High quality, hot and fresh, a bargain for the price... even with a 20% tip for the staff. We'll be back.
This is chili? Imagine spaghetti meat sauce soup. To make matters worse, it was tepid. Why can't restaurants serve hot food?
