Excellent experience. $31. Left on time and due to arrive 2 minutes early. The staff are incredible. We had a pretty full train, but it was still so comfortable. Lots of space. Restrooms are huge and were clean. Beautiful scenery. Cafe car was wonderful and the guy who mans the cafe car was quite possibly the kindest chap I have ever met. Truly the employees were fantastic. I feel lucky we have this route from Okc to Ft Worth.
Tips. Southbound puck a seat on the right side (west) of the train car. The views are wonderful of the river around Paul’s Valley and the Arbuckle Mountains. Will be repeating this trip often. Kudos Amtrak!
Took the the thruway bus to Newton. Was there early and got us there early. Would use the service again.
This is a lovely train station with beautiful Art Deco architecture. The Train Staff was very kind and it has been an overall good experience. I recommend (:
The Heartland Flyer is a great route. I’ve taken it many times over the course of several years with only minimal delays. The staff is generally friendly and the amenities are great. Free WiFi, plug outlets at every seat, cafe car, lots of clean bathrooms and an almost unbelievable amount of legroom.
Love this city. Downtown has so much to offer with the new scissortail park. Plus, there's Myriad Gardens, the Thunder, and Bricktown. It's so fun to go down there for the day or a short getaway.
It was a very nice & lovely city. Had some good restaurants & places to visit, like museums & beautiful gardens. We would like to visit Oklahoma city again. Thought it was gonna be some racism there since we are Hispanics But I was surprised that we didn't get anything like that. Everyone was actually nice.
Great indoor area with bathrooms, and plenty of space to walk around inside while you wait. The Amtrak personnel came in about 45 min before boarding and informed everyone of what to do when they were ready board. The staff was friendly, the station was clean inside and felt safe! They boarded us about 25 min before the train left and were right on time!
Beautiful beua arts station with amazing ornate renovations. Amtrak connection to Fort Worth and a bus connection to Newton Kansas for onward connection to train 3 & 4.
I periodically take the Amtrak Heartland Fly from OKC to Ft. Worth and back. It is a great relaxing trip. Way better than driving down there and dealing with DFW traffic!
I'm on my first ever train ride from Okc to Ft Worth from there to Longview Tx. I'm excited and nervous at the same time lol, I'm able to bring my own food & drink no adult beverages up to 4 suitcases 28×17×14 but it's really comfortable & nice i brought my pillow & blanket..
