Love the variety and style in which it's served. I wish more unique dishes could be ordered. Food is worth the price, even if it's a bit higher than most.
The breading of any food is always crispy and hot. Most other restaurants never go that extra step to make the presentation and quality stand out for the same price.
Best Chinese food in the area. Pot Stickers were amazing. Also had the Orange Beef and it was great.
The food was good and if you're feeling overwhelmed by the menu just look for the family dinner for $15.95 per person. I promise you will get more than enough. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was kind.
Walked right in on a Saturday. The place was clean and staff was very friendly. By far the best Chinese food I have ever had.
I ordered the Salt and Pepper Shrimp (w/ shell) and it was great. I haven’t ordered from here in over 5 years and it tasted exactly how I remembered. For my specific order, it only took 10-15 minutes to be completed so I’d say quick service. I would recommend this restaurant 100% for any take out orders.
Side note : I’ve never ate in the restaurant so I’m unsure about how the atmosphere truly feels.
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. The cost is only minimally higher than take out Chinese and well worth it. The seating is comfortable. The temperature is always appropriate. The food is better than take out. The service is great. One note. If not there for a lunch special, and if you're going to order soup and egg roll (extra), then if your main course is on their dinner for two or more, do that. It will cost the same and you get more. Lots of shrimp in the Kung Pao Shrimp and Pork and great Sesame Chicken. We think the Happy Family is a little bland.
I am from Asia and at Dot Wo... Man!! The food is ALWAYS so good. Always spot on for flavor, spiciness, temperature... This is my go-to place whenever I want Chinese food.
The service is fast and even the food is served quickly! The servers are proactive. I never have to ask for a to-go box, they ask me if I need one. They are always around if I need them, they don't disappear.
I will give this place a 5 stars food was good and a plate can really be shared with someone, it's good portions. My only thing is the waitress could maybe be a little more helpful when someone is new at the restaurant and doesn't know the menu, every else was great!
I've been going to a Dot Wo restaurant since the early 90's and there was one near 30th and N Portland and it's been my favorite Chinese food place ever since! Their hot and sour soup is the best you can get and even their rice seems better then other Chinese restaurants and it's consistent. My personal favorite is chicken with green beans, try it some time, it's simply great!
I have been dinning at this restaurant for many yrs. The food is ALWAYS consistent and mostly, not greasy. Most Chinese restaurants use so much oil (very saturated) i try to avoid those. This is my "go to" Chinese Restaurant.
