I thought the location off of 23rd and Rockwell was the best but they have competition from the Nino's replacement (so glad Nino's is no more). Big spacious area, waiter was on point, the margarita selection is better than the others, the steak fajita portions are larger and more tender, and the tortillas taste different as in homemade different than the other locations. Glad I ate at this location on my birthday this week. I wonder if they open the outside patio? Will definitely be back.

Beer A+ Ice Cold Tecate w/salt & lime smeared into the frozen goblet,,,,awesome!
Food A+ Don't order enchiladas, tacos or the usual tex-mex junk,,,get the authentic Mex stuff with a fried egg on it. Sweet!
Salsa A+ Best on the planet but only at this Chelino's .
Finally,, Refried beans bite! Get the borachos beans.
Ok I know it's not everyone's favorite but I eat here 1-2 times a month & I think it's getting a bad rap.

Best Chelinos in town. Location in bricktown close. Jesse and the staff do a great job serving high quality food. They remember the little things without me having to ask.
Hubby and I came in around 2pm. Had the best lunch ever. Seriously. My Tecate was never empty, frosty and limed to perfection, food was out in 5 min. Not to mention how wonderful the staff’s attitudes were. Everything was perfect. My new favorite place.
We’ve been eating at this restaurant for at least the past 10 years. I like that they give everyone their own queso and salsa. My favorite is the Chicken fajita Chimichanga. However, this time I tried their Shrimp tacos and I must say they were good. My husband had their Chicken fajita tacos al carbón plate and they were huge. Didn’t come with lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole or sour cream. So if you like those ingredients in your tacos you must ask for them. Otherwise they still were good. My daughter got the Barreda taco plate. They were ok, except she said they were too cheesy and greasy. My BIL had the quesadillas plate and said they were good. Overall this restaurant is really good and large to accommodate crowds. If you’ve never had so papilla’s, I highly recommend them for dessert.

Great food! Nice size portions! Friendly and accommodating staff. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because there were a lot of um..."fuzz bunnies" in the a/c vents. Would not have enjoyed them falling into my food.
It was a nice place to take the family. The kids enjoyed the TexMex food and was a pretty quick turnaround on everything. Which when you take a few hungry little kids is almost as valuable as the food.
Everyone knows Chelino's. Classic Tex-Mex style restaurant. It's yummy, but nothing to call home about. The service is always top-notch, and the food comes out quick, every time!
Enjoyed the strolling singer with the Spanish guitar. Enjoyed the personable waiter who got everything right and smiled while being so in control. Enjoyed the fresh, hot food. Authentic, fun, tasty and I'm certain we will be back.
I love the food at this particular location. It is always consistent in flavor and appearance. The only grievance I have is a lot of times when I call to get take out, they do not answer the phone or I get a busy signal because they have taken the phone off the hook.
Love this place, been coming here for years and always have amazing service!!! Normally get seated within a minute of coming in, and once you've ordered, it's normally no more than 10 minutes and the food is ready for your enjoyment.
Beautiful Atmosphere, Delicious Food Entrees, With Plenty Of Options To Choose From. Tastes Like Old School Cooking From Back Home. Trust Me When I Say Save Room For The Sopapillas!!!! Delicioso & The Ice Cold Tecates Are Preparadas Too. 😋
