I’ve gotten the chicken Stromboli when I’ve come in and it’s pretty reliable, big, and very tasty. That takes about 20 mins from the time you order. I won’t lie I love most pizza, cheese, doughy bread, and chicken so it’s not like I’m that picky.
Stopped at Basil on late afternoon, opted for a Vegan Stromboli. Made fresh as I waited and people watched. It was worth every minute. Delicious!!! Been craving more than decent Vegan pizza options, this hit the spot!!! Craving sated.
Great food. I’ve ordered twice from here already. The staff members are very friendly. Their food is very fresh and yummy. I will certainly be ordering a lot more from here. Keep up the good work guys. The slice app is convenient to place orders online. I ordered their chicken specialty dishes both the time, I’ll be trying pepperoni next time :)
Their pizzas are soo good. They also have salads and wings. Great service and great place.
Favorite pizza place in the east bay! They make a delicious cheese pizza that is traditional to NY style! We really enjoy their garlic knots, and be sure to try the hot wings! The staff is very courteous and helpful. A must try when in Oakland.
Best Pizza and Ceasar salad in town.Just off the main drag, not far from Stone Soup (also great). We have eaten here many times, not cardboard pizza crusts, watch then flip and stretch the dough, kids especially love to see it as most think everything comes from a fast-food place or magically appears out of a can, bag or drive-up window. Great food! Best place in town for pizza. Salads are great. Great prices. The people are super nice and friendly. While we were there, they even remade an order for a sweet old man he was late picking up his food because he was at a funeral. How fantastic is that! Way to go Sweet Basil!
