I ordered online after seeing this on yelp. I ordered Mongolian Beef and Shrimp Fried rice. It was delicious, my food arrived and once I opened it, I smelled the delicious food and immediately devoured it. The owner, delivers the meal to you and great prices! I will always order from here. Consistently the yummiest Curried Chicken in town. Juicy morsels of chicken with a sauce evenly tempered with spice and veggies. Their fried chicken wings are also superb...not greasy yet moist. The folks who run the place are fine citizens of planet earth. I drive here 12 miles one way weekly and gladly.
I was told that the restaurant was renovated since the last time I ate there. When I used to live in California, I enjoyed their food at the restaurant, before doing my errands at nearby businesses, like Wells Fargo Bank, Walgreens, and the book store that's near Broadway and 14th St. Some of my favorites were Honey Walnut Prawns, Sweet And Sour Shrimp, and Tomato With Scrambled Eggs. They were delicious, nutritious, and gave me the energy to get me going. The people were nice and courteous. Whenever I plan to visit folks in the East Bay, I will definitely drop by Blessed Garden and eat a good meal there again. 😁
I just ordered two roast turkeys for this Thanksgiving from the Blessed Garden Restaurant. I know it's a little early, but I want to put my order in first. I have my shares of roast turkeys for the past 20+ years, but I have never tasted one as good as the one made by the Blessed Garden Restaurant. Last year was my first year ordering turkey from them, they really surprised me because the turkey was the most flavorful one I have ever tasted. They first marinate the turkey, the same way they would marinate a roast duck. Then they put the turkey on the hanging rack that slowly turning 360 degree and continuing to pour seasoning on it. The result was a tender, flavorful and mouth watering turkey.

Per some of the other Yelp reviews (great job btw, Yelp), this place seems to be overlooked. It makes sense too - its an unassuming, low-key space. The name isn't flashy, there are no gimmicks such as two month wait-lists and the food is, by description, fairly basic.
