Our server Endy was phenomenal; amicable, patient, and charismatic. The service was incredible. The mixed drinks were underwhelming. The seafood risotto wasn't impressive. It felt more like a rice + seafood dish instead of a cohesive risotto. It lacked flavor and was poorly executed.
We were dining in the beautiful outdoor area behind the place when a huge thunderstorm and flash flood began. But the wonderful and attentive staff took it in stride, bringing all the guests indoors and even offering free drinks to us while we remained trapped inside.
The food was excellent as well, with a nice brunch menu and extensive choices for beer wine and cocktails.
A very warm and cozy restaurant, not very large but with a nice bar. Outstanding service, and the menu with so many wonderful choices that I literally wanted to eat everything on the menu.
For an appetizer we ordered the Thai chili calamari, which was a huge portion for two people. We also split the butternut squash salad which was light crisp and delicious, and oddly came out before the appetizer. For our main course, my lady ordered marinated skirt steak and I got the ribeye, which was approximately 16 oz even though it's not mentioned on the menu. Both were cooked to perfection and both came with nice side dishes that were interchangeable with any side dish listed on the menu, which was very nice and accommodating. We didn't get dessert because we were stuffed beyond belief but we did have a drink each. Total came to about 160 with tip but was worth it. I would definitely go back.
This was a fantastic surprise. Bistro 44 was recommended to us and it exceeded expectations. It's warm and cozy with friendly staff and a great menu. Antipasto to start, the Bistro Burger and chicken milanese as entrees, and a couple of coffee cocktails plus the pictured for dessert. An excellent evening.
Great place ! 4 stars as it is not so fancy. Good food. Service was okay. Quality price ratio is good you can go and be happy with what you will get.
I may go back there if I'm around.
I still recommend it
This is a great place to dine while in Northport. Menu was interesting, food and drinks were delicious and prices were reasonable. The lobster ravioli had a huge amount of lobster. Service was excellent and wait staff was very friendly even when so busy on a Friday night.
Food was great, our waitress was fantastic.
Drinks to Dessert flawless. Everything was fresh and tasty! Waitstaff were friendly, warm, and knowledgeable. 5 stars doesn't feel like enough praise.
Great pick for a nice meal on Main St. Dark wooded interior and pretty patio. Seafood ceviche was a nice mixture of various favorites, including big chunks of lobster - good value for the money.
Service was super great, our waiter was very nice! The food was good and portions are huge. The risotto had a bit too much butter but the rest of the specials were great. Again, portions are huge so definitely share the appetizer.
