Such an absolutely fantastic restaurant! Great service and really really really really good food. A little on the pricer side but you will leave feeling like it was money well spent. The auto gratuity for a party of 3 is a bit odd but no big deal since servers deserve that 20 percent!
Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. We dined outside and found the environment to be quite lovely. Certainly a place I'd go back to and certainly hope to go back to.
Dinner was amazing. The domestic lamb special was absolutely delicious. The butter flounder and crab amazing. Creative dessert, pear upside down cake with pear and almond ice cream house may spectacular. Can’t wait to go back.

Great selection of seafood and wine pairings. We started with White Wine, Octopus, Oysters on the Half Shell, and an Oyster Trio Plater with Rockefeller, Raw and Buffalo Friend Oysters.
Fin Seafood came by way of recommendation for an early business casual dinner. You will experience a relaxing atmosphere, a creative menu with pleasant and professional staff.
Awesome! Celebrated my daughter's 35th Birthday! Got the 5 course meal (The whole table has to do the 5 course.) Wine pairings are additional.! Everything was so savory and delicious, cooked to perfection. It is pricey but worth every penny. 20% Gratuity is included in the price.
Fantastic menu and extremely knowledgeable staff. I'm a seafood addict, so I love the SUPER fresh choices of seafood available every time I come here. The drinks compliment the menu well and portions are well worth the price of fresh seafood.
A local favorite that I often recommend
Fin has been on my list to try for quite some time after enjoying Fin and Tonic in Suffolk. As the original, it is no surprise that everything is absolutely amazing here! This is a great place for lunch or dinner, casual or fancy!
Clearly one of best restaurants in Newport News. They focus on providing creative quality drinks and food. Their grilled ceaser romaine salad is unique and tasty. They have the best Oysters Rockefeller we have ever eaten. The veggies accompanying their seared tuna, is a combination like no other. Their dishes are reasonably priced, because they only serve the highest quality of food.
We had an amazing experience on New Year’s Eve. We enjoyed a drink at the bar prior to being seated. The bartender was exceptionally gifted at her craft and wonderfully engaging as we waited (highly recommend the old fashioned flight!). Serving staff was friendly, diligent and attentive. Our server was exceptional. Her attention to every detail and timing was superb. My knife was not polished (it was clean) to her satisfaction - as soon as she set it down she picked it back up to get me a new one. That type of attention to the details makes for a dining experience that is above and beyond. The food was delicious and thoughtfully executed with unique and inspired flavors. We were able to observe the kitchen and in doing so witnessed first hand the attention put into each and every dish and a well orchestrated team. We look forward to returning!
