Very good sausage, English muffins not just junkie cheap ones like most use, dairy gold butter and smuckers jam, good bacon. Great steak fries.
Cup that wife's coffee came in was not clean from previous customer, but everything else was way above average.
The day of my visit was St. Patty's day. We were there to drink plenty of Guinness and didn't have anything else. The service was top notch even though the place was packed. Had a Great time. Will be back
Shamrock is the best Irish pub in Newport Beach. The atmosphere is what you would come to expect at an Irish pub. The staff is from Ireland. The service is excellent and the Guinness is always flowing. This is a great place to watch early morning European soccer matches.
my friend ordered her very stiff Jameson and ginger from a friendly bartender, no problem. She referred to the establishment as a standard Irish bar with lots of seating. Satisfied.
Fish and chips to die for! Today I had the grilled corned beef on rye bread. Delicious.

A nice little dive bar right on Pacific Coast Highway in Newport Beach,CA. Good atmosphere, attentive bartenders, and awsome live music. Saw Triple Thread play here and they put on a great show.
Good local place by the beach that had a live band that night, good fun!! :)

Love this place, right on the Waterfront in Newport Beach. They pour a mean drink and the food is very good as well! Live music on Friday and Saturday nights. Also a great place to watch Premier League Soccer, and other sports.
The people there were all nice and helpful since we are from out of town. I would definitely recommend this place to others out of towner's. It's a nice kinda dive like I like, but the lady running the bar made recommendations on where we should and shouldn't go. The fried food was even great. I usually don't eat that cause I get sick, but I risked it and did not get sick. In fact, I couldn't stop eating the wings and onion rings.
