Today, my fiancé and I went to Newport and stopped at one of his favourite sushi places for lunch. The quiet environment made it a great place for a chat over sushi. The chef, Jinu, is very friendly and professional. Below are some great nigiri creations by my fiancé and Jinu. As you can see from the pictures, you can't see them on the menu! I was shocked that the chef welcomed customers' suggestions! The art of creativity! Red eye tuna (a little bit torched) with crispy onion, black clavier and ponzu sauce, it's really WOW! The unagi with a thin slice of pineapple on top was really different! I looked at the other food items on the menu, great selection as well! And very reasonably priced! So go check it out before they are moving end of Jan! Don't miss it!
Best place in OC for sushi. Have been a customer for 12 years and my husband 15 years. Freshest fish, great menu and great staff. Always tell everyone about going here when they want great sushi.
Definitely pricey, but the rolls are gigantic. The service has been a little slow, but I think the quality of the food and friendliness makes up for it. 100% the best sushi restaurant in OC.
The food is good and tasty. The sushi fresh. Prices are not extreme and the place is open later than many of the other restaurants around. Highly recommend it for sushi on the pennisula.
Outstanding service, great Sushi - they will even teach you how to use chopsticks! Great choice if you're on the fence about where to satisfy your craving for Sushi!
Delicious sushi, with a lot of choices. They have their own free parking lot, so you don't have to worry about fighting for a street spot in the middle of the beach district.
Best sushi in orange county. Owners are great people. Service, sushi, and atmosphere are all great. My fav by far.
Doors are locked, tables are gone and shop is closed. Not sure what happened but they are no longer open. Goodbye best happy hour

It was really good sushi a block from the beach. Pretty dang cheap when compared to most sushi.
