I live this place little piece of heaven. The sandwiches are yo die for . Me and my wife come from Arizona for this sandwiches. There is nothing like them anywhere else. The owner loves when I bring her fish
The best pho I have ever had
Go to this place!!!!! Its so clean best quality if you don't like pho this place will make you change your mind. How do I know that because I am one of those people. Sweet service very fast.
Overall: 3.6/5 (dine in)
This is a small storefront that's street facing so it might be hard to find parking right in front. I was surprised when I got there because I thought it was a sit down restaurant but the set up is really for take out/delivery. They have bars & stools along the side of the walls but at max, the restaurant can only seat 8-10 people. Customer service is good here though.
Pork Belly Bun Slider ($5.95): Better than the grilled pork slider but was just okay.
Grilled Pork Bun Slider ($5.75): The grilled pork was very dry.
For both sliders, they gave a lot of carrots which I liked but they were lacking all the Vietnamese flavors. The buns were soft though.
420 Downtowner Special ($10.25): We were both so disappointed when we tried this. The presentation was nice but the taste was mid. The green colored rice and the shredded chicken were bland. The pork on top was a bit less dry than the one in the bun and was the only thing with flavor.
Nam Nam Wings (5 Wings For $7.95): The wings were the best item of the night. They were crispy and tasty.
Pork belly bap slider So good omg I was like.. I should gotten 2 🥲 1 wasn't enough.
I also got the Pho Baggett dip, 1st dip was alright them I added hot sauce and the flavor got better like fuller..
Very good quality food, affordable price.
I didn't have extra money for extra meat and they said don't wory about it and gave me extra meat,
I was so happy I shook workers hand and personally thanked him. He made my evening. 🙂
Great little snack. Milk & Cookie is right next door to wrap up with a sweet treat!
It’s hard to find the parking so crowded always. Their food is good but kind of small portions for 2 people at least need to order 3 items. Price is reasonable. Need to upgrade the kitchen when they were cooking the whole restaurant was smoky.
Some of the best food on the peninsula. Everything tastes fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the jackfruit bao sliders and the tofu banh mi for vegetarians. Their summer rolls are light, fresh, and crisp. Delicious!
Pho real, this was the most pho-nominal pho I have ever had in my life. Service is a touch slow, but heck, I would wait a year if it meant I could have one more bite of this juicy heaven.
Saigon beach restaurant has some of the best Vietnamese food that we have ever tried out here in Newport Beach California. We ordered the grilled pork Banh mi sandwich and the grilled pork spring rolls we also ordered the pork belly bun. The best thing we had was the chicken wings! Those were fire!!
The flavors were on point!
If you're ever in Newport California and are looking for a great Vietnamese spot to try then you got to try Saigon Beach Restaurant! You won't be disappointed.
I really loved this place! Vegan Bahn Mi (tofu), and vegan spicy lemongrass soup. All the food was super fresh and served fast. I highly recommend it, and look forward to my return.
Very tasty and the price is very reasonable. We ordered chicken spicy soup, Pho w tofu, and banh mi special. The spicy soup was very tasty for a chicken flavor. The banh mi has mustard in it, but it tasted quite good. We will come here again
