I really do hate giving a place like this three stars but unfortunately I just did not care too much for their Pizza. I won't say that it was extremely bad but it just was mediocre at best. Almost as if they used cheap ingredients for the toppings. Also I thought the sauce was mediocre as well. I don't want to discourage somebody from eating here because it is a locally owned Mom and Pop shop and I am a big fan of these types of restaurants. Restaurant itself was extremely clean and definitely outdated as expected. The restrooms were clean and the staff was very nice. Please note that just because I did not like the food doesn't mean you won't.
My colleague recommended this restaurant to me a few weeks ago and I finally had a chance to visit. The menu offers a great variety of the usual staples--I went with the fish sandwich and was not disappointed! Service was friendly and familiar, it felt like it wasn't my first trip there! The only thing I didn't enjoy was the use of cool lighting rather than warm lighting in the dining section. This is totally a *me* thing, but cool lighting feels somewhat post-apocalyptic and makes everything/everyone look sickly. If you've ever seen the Twilight films, you know what I'm talking about! In contrast, my boyfriend was wholly unbothered by the lighting. :)
4/5 stars until I return and try something else on the menu, I'm happy to support local!
Awesome mom & pop pizza place but they also offer lunch and other dinners. We had their spicy pepperoni pizza, regular crust. Very good. Prices are right, staff was very friendly and the food was great. Will return again and again.
The owner of Dan's is a dear friend. Their pizzas are amazing and their restaurant dinning is like good old home cooking. Wonderful place to eat.
So good to be able to go back into the dining room and eat. Carol is a great server.
Dan's family restaurant closed its doors due to retirement this great place will be missed. They had yet close their doors for good this time he will definitely be missed enjoy retirement
Huge menu. This place is like stepping back in time. We have always had good service.
