Went to this place for the first time ever and it was great staff was helpful and the sandwich was delicious
Awesome sandwiches and very friendly service ! The ruben was delish and the broccoli cheddar soup good also ! Will definitely go back again ! I forgot my pickle though, darn ! Was chatting so much with the friendly lady up front, I totally forgot to make sure they gave it to me ! Oh well, next time ! I'm hoping business is good for them and they can stay for a long time !
The staff are super friendly, and most have been there for years, so they even get to know what your favorites are and any special options you like. The Dutch Crunch is the finest sandwich bread of any sandwich shop (Togo's, Subway, etc.). They have a seasonal Tri-Tip (sandwich and as a salad) that rocks. Half sandwiches can fill just about anybody up, but the full sandwiches will fill ANYBODY up. A bit pricey (lots of $10 full sandwiches), but you get a free chocolate chip cookie and the quality is very high, so a solid value.

We visited a few different Mr. Pickle's locations before and nothing really seen that remarkable. after a short while visiting the Newark location, it became increasingly clear to us that we were treated like family. The service is friendly professional, the service is on point, as the kids say, and we have been won over time and time again. If you live in Newark or decide to create a picnic at Lakeshore Park nearby, I hope your experience is also a pleasant one at Mr. Pickles of Newark, CA.
I love this sandwich shop! There Dutch crunch roll is by far the best, the staff is always friendly & quick, I'm usually in & out in 10 minutes or less & they get my order right. The sandwiches are always fresh and they aren't skimpy with their toppings.
This place is simply amazing. The folks at this shop are so friendly and make sure you have an amazing experience with each bite! The only criticism I have is when using doordash it would be nice if you could verify your purchases to add onto your mr.Pickles points. I have like 7 orders unaccounted for and it would be nice to get them. Otherwise I hope they read this and realize that they're amazing and I love being a repeat customer!

Fantastic sandwiches, our goto for a quick lunch. Highly recommend anything with baja sauce.
