There's actually two spots here both have great options! I love the pernil that Maria makes, unlike most options for this in the area she always adds greens to the plate, this makes for a great well rounded meal. The medium is perfect for one person. Sometimes when I don't feel like cooking I'll order a large around 3 to take it home. It easily servers two!
I love Maria's Gourmet! Her food is always on point and she has a lot of variety in lunch entree meats. Very humble and polite business owner. She makes you feel like you're at home. I definitely recommend this place!
I stopped by, driving through town. I got a 6" cold beef and cheddar with a hot roasted almond latte. It was very good.
Food is great but parking sucks!
Ladies behind the counter are very nice. Doesn't save them from the fact they fill the plate with rice more than anything else. The ribs were delicious albiet greasy. Would recommend for a quick dinner or lunch.
Maria cooks Hispanic cuisine delicious, even when it's such a small place. She cooks lunches for all workers in the area. Not a fancy restaurant but delicious and affordable Latin food...Arroz y Habichuelas...Arroz con Pollo...etc. Pork Ribs, excellent Salmon weekly and many other dishes. Delicious food (both sides of the business!) and warm, welcoming, friendly owners and employees. I can't ask for more!
Delicious Dominican food. They are not shy about quantity and reasonable prices. Maria is an amazing chef. So far, best stew chicken and salmon. 😍😍
Gotta try the newark wrap. And their gyro is a belly buster💪, Comes with fries and only 7 bucks!! The service here is also really good and I will definitely be coming back on the regular. The mornings are really busy so make sure your ok with the wait. It's best of you call ahead of time and place your order
