Great spot for food on the go. Buffet is always hot and fresh with the authentic flavor everybody loves. Try the empanadas too, usually 3 kinds to choose from, beef, chicken and cheese, all are flaky, moist and delicious. Desert too, 4 leches, always better than tres leche...turns into the place to party at night so come early to eat, stay late to dance, Holla!!
The food from el merengue NEVER disappoints me. I have been eating here for years and have never dined in but the women servers/cashiers are so nice and pretty and the food is usually a different selection but I think it’s cause they make everything fresh for the day. Many people go here so it can be packed at times and they speak primarily Spanish but none of that matters, it’s just info. Most important info: the food is top tier
The owner is very kind. I have seen him give food to some of the homeless people in the area. He is a great guy. The empanadas are great.

Food is pretty good and the prices are great... great place to go for a nice lunch or dinner whether you're dining in or taking out
I love this place, great service, good music, I do enjoyed a lot the several time I been there on saturdays, had good time, good eating, I do recomend it. When I travel there from connecticut to visit my friend I dont missed to go there👍
