The location leaves something to be desired, but if it's authentic Mexican cuisine you're craving, look no further. Billed as a Mexican steakhouse, Guadalupe offers bistec dishes but so much more. The ceviche rocks, as does the freshly prepared guacamole. The beer and liquor selection is great, too, as the restaurant provides a full bar, draft beers, and a pretty substantial wine list. The service is top-notch: attentive but not hovering or fussy. They take care of you here and are focused on customer comfort. In addition to the fantastic food and service, the ambiance and decor are nice. The only drawback is that there is only one main dining room, and it can get very crowded, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. The best night to get an uncrowded experience is Sunday or Monday for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is really clean and well-maintained. To be honest, the menu prices are a bit steep, but as they say, you get what you pay for. Here, what you get is high quality food and service. You won't be disappointed. To top things off, there's usually some live entertainment in the evenings.

Expensive for neighborhood but it's the best meal Ive had in a while. They need many more chairs at the bar-plenty of space for them.
