In the middle of a bustling SoHo, the place has something relaxing and soothing about it. It also makes for a good 7 minutes walk from the Scholastic Headquarters. Love the food ans coffee served here; especially the turkey picnic sandwich.
Coming from Australia, it's pretty hard to get used to the American coffee. Ground support is a great place to get Australian-style coffee. Although quite pricey, the coffee is very good and worth the extra dollars!
I have been hearing great things about Ground Support for a while now so I just had to check it out. When I first walked toward Ground Support I could smell the rich scent of coffee from about a block down the road. When I finally arrived there was an intimidatingly long line out the door but to my surprise this moved rather quickly. Now, I won't lie, I didn't actually get coffee here. It was far to hot out so I went with their mint ice tea. It was beyond wonderful. So fresh and refreshing - it was the perfect way to beat the heat. Ground Support has a lot of seating inside. That being said, there are a lot of picnic tables and benches so everything is pretty much shared between parties. Not only was the staff nice but so was the clientele, this made sharing tables that much easier.
Loved the decor and wooden benches dotted everywhere. Very relaxed atmosphere, delicious cortados and Almond lattes. Wifi for customers. Happy find :)

Our regular coffee stop, Ground Support, was only 5 minutes walk from our hotel, provided good brews, albeit slightly too hot for our melbournian standards.
cafe food and the scene here is better than most. Service is awesome even when they are busy. Had a sister come into town and asked me to take her here again. Prices that won't break you. Reminds me of a restaurant in Philadelphia that I enjoyed.

We stopped by for coffee and cake and were extremely impressed by their kind staff, great atmosphere, and affordable prices. This is a great place where you could just go to watch the people and read the signs on the wall, or just step out back to an exhibit. The atmosphere is everything here, and the coffee is good.
Yes, it is vegetarian but with the flavor and richness in their dishes you cannot even tell. Fresh and a really healthy option when you're trying to eat right.

Very solid espresso offered is a super casual atmosphere. Swift and friendly service, knowledgeable staff and a pleasure to visit.
A few people working on their laptops, so I assume it's convenient to get some work done while you're sipping on your beverage.
Would definitely recommend it.
