I have been coming to this extraordinary restaurant for over 15 years and it just gets better and better every year. The menu is incredible and everything you order is simply amazing! Whether you have any the amazing steak, fish, pastas, pizza or salads, you’ll always have an incredible meal! The delivery service is exceptional and as reliable as can be. The restaurant is just beautiful and every meal is an experience taking you away from the hectic lifestyle in the city. The live music is fantastic and just what you would want to add to the already amazing experience. As amazing as the food always is, the staff and owners are the best in the business! They are the nicest and most genuine people you can ever meet and have the very unique balance of warm professionalism and friendliness, making you feel like you are treated like royalty every time. Take the time to make a reservation, become part of the Finestra family and you will not be disappointed!
My husband and I were just there with our youngest. It was our first visit to Finestra. The food was perfectly cooked. The service was phenomenal. The atmosphere was quiet and personal. I hope to someday return. Thank you for making the evening special and the drinks at the end were superb. Highly recommend.
Good neighborhood Italian food! Service was excellent which is so hard to find these days. Small cozy setting. We had a few flavors of risotto, the chicken special and great homemade deserts. Overall a wonderful meal thanks!
We hosted a private event here last night. The owner went above and beyond to ensure all our needs were met. The food was delicious and plentiful and the space was set up really well. Thank you to Simona and the rest of your team for helping us create such amazing memories. We hope to be back again soon.
My parents recently moved to the area and one day when we were looking for a place for lunch we decided to pop into Finestra. Right when you walk in you get this awesome family homestyle Italian restaurant, and overall the place is really cute. The service is very friendly and they follow all covid protocols as well. The pizza was really good and someone in my family got a pasta dish that was really good also, I just cannot remember which exact one it was. My parents have returned to the place because they really like it, and I definetely plan to return when I get the chance to. Overall, if you are in the Upper East Side/Lenox Hill are and are looking for an authentic and cute hole in the wall family owner Italian place, I would for sure check out Finestra.
My wife and I had dinner at Finestra on a Friday evening. I had the salmon with vegetables and my wife had the shrimp risotto. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the vegetables were delicious. My wife enjoy d the risotto and we both agreed it was one of the better meals we have had in NYC. Excellent service as the waitress was attentive to my wife’s celiac issues. Highly recommend Finestra.

Amazing italian restaurant in the UES.
I loved every minute of my dinner at Finestra. The service was top-notch from the beginning. Our server Alina was amazing, knowledgeable, kind and funny. My husband and I were celebrating our first anniversary together and it was an unforgettable night. We shared the burrata appetizer that tasted like heaven. It was indeed an unforgettable night.
