We took our annual trip to NYC and chose this place for a late lunch after a day of exploring the Cloisters and Fort Tryon Park. What a terrific place! The food was outstanding and arrived quickly (the goat cheese croquettes are a must!), the beer selection was varied and we made great choices (the Bronx Brewery pale ale was super!), the atmosphere was cheerful and comfortable, and our server was top notch, even coming over to shake our hands as we were leaving and wishing us a good trip back home. Nothing better than a perfect end to a perfect day :)
Love the friendly staff, the environment family feel during daylight lol. The food is great, never had a complain, great wings, the burger are fantastic too. But best of all the large assortment of beers, draft, and bottles. I'm a happy camper when I'm there! Thanks and keep up the great job.
I've been here before and the food is always great , atmosphere is always wonderful and the waiters are always attentive and wonderful. The reason on why I'm finally writing a review today is because I had their bread pudding. My friend and I ordered it since we wanted something sweet to end the night. You could smell the bread being baked, as the wonderful aroma wafted from the kitchen, it was a pretty good wait for it though as I believe it was literally being made from scratch. Every bite of that bread pudding was divine. The caramel was warm, the bread pudding itself wasn't too sweet and the texture was great.
Will always come back to Tryon, but now the bread pudding is a must every time I go.
Chose Tryon Public House to host a surprise 60th birthday party for my father. They were extremely helpful and accommodating from the planning phase up to the actual day. The venue itself great, the service, outstanding, and the food was amazing. Shout outs to the owner, Niall, and the manager Abe, for all of their help.
The guacamole was really yummy. The bloody maria was tasty, the momosa was ok, not my favorite. The service was friendly
Stopped into this very popular grill in the early afternoon. It was clean and attractive inside and out. The service was attentive and well timed. I had an excellent hamburger and fries combination. The burger was perfectly cooked and well plated with a lovely bun. The fries were heaven, crispy outside, creamy inside and hot when I got them. If you are visiting the Cloisters or have just biked or hiked the path along the Hudson river....this is the place to stop for a bite and a beer. The downtown A train stops right across the street, which is a major convenience for tired tourists.
This place has THE best burgers! In all Inwood!
The staff is friendly and always ready to recommend some delicious and new, that won’t disappoint.!!!
The drinks are delicious. Food is cooked fresh and is really good. I love the salad dressing they use for their salads. Good place for catching up with old friends or a causal date.
We went on Saturday night to have dinner and drinks with some friends. They had live music and then a dj, we had a really nice time. Food was delicious as always.
Great atmosphere, service, prices and very fresh tasting food. We had the burgers which were huge but could've used a little more flavor. The Fried Green Tomatoes were great but too expensive for 4 slices. The Onion Rings and Sweet Potato Fries were fantastic. Great place to watch sports too 👍
