Great food and beer ! Had the scotch eggs and lamb vindaloo which were both awesome! Can’t go wrong with the old speckled hen either! Delicious !!!🍻
I think Jones Wood Foundry is excellent. Only place I can safely say feels like home with great food, wonderful wine beer and cider, and best staff on the UES.
My family ordered the JWF HOLIDAY TO GO Roast Beef menu. There was a miscommunication regarding the delivery times. We thought the meal would be delivered at 6 pm. Around 6:20pm we called to see if the delivery went out. They said that the delivery window was between 6 and 7 pm and that the delivery person just left. We didn’t get our food until 7:20 pm. So one star off for that. But!
The food is very good! High quality beef with sides in metal trays that you can stick directly in the oven. It was easy to cook (I had to leave it in the oven for 15 minutes more than the instructions but is probably my oven), just pop it in and dinner is ready! It was well worth the wait. The portions were generous.
I’m very impressed with the menu they offered for the holiday season.
Went here for lunch today with my mom. We each had a delicious (and new on the menu) broccoli cheddar soup, which actually had real broccoli chunks and homemade croutons. We shared the shepherd’s pie, which was amazingly delicious and large enough to share. Outdoor back patio was cute and had a heater above for some tables. Waiter was very friendly and attentive. They did have a large beer/wine/alcohol selection, but neither of us had so I can’t write about that. I will be crossing over from the upper west side to return to this lovely gem!
Great brunch! The poached eggs on avocado toast dish was amazing. The hot rum cocktail hit the spot for these cold days
Cozy interior and very nice restaurant in the neighborhood, however a little bit pricey. Very friendly and helpful staff.
I enjoy the vibe of this place. A little but on the pricier side (fish and chips for $25 lol). But still worth it
Great ambiance. The indoor patio is a nice feature. Food is solid - not to die for but I’ve never been disappointed. Beer/wine menu is a little sleepy. The staff is welcoming and service is good. Overall a nice neighborhood spot.
Went there with my family for Thanksgiving. We sat outside since the weather was nice and the food and service were pretty good. A little pricey, but it was worth not having to cook. Would definitely recommend.

Nice outdoor setup on the sidewalk and a hidden gem of an inner courtyard with ample heaters! Food was excellent and authentic British! Highly recommend!
