I eat here almost every time I'm in NYC for work. The ginger bbq brisket is divine, though I've also been really loving the pork belly rice bowl lately. There's a line during the lunch hour - a testament to how good it is - but they move through the line super fast.
I had the best pulled pork sandwich in my life! Num pang in Chelsea market did a great job!!!
Had the pleasure of going to Chelsea Market for the first time and got to try Num Pang. Overall I was pleased. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and was impressed by the flavor.
I was disappointed with a few things. They will not let you modify your sandwich, there is very little meat on the sandwich and the prices are high.
Located inside the popular Chelsea Market, this place serves the most delicious Vietnamese rolls. I had the pulled pork variation. Affordable food & quick service, just wish there was more seating so I could sit down and enjoy my food.
Great sandwiches; very spicy slaw. Num Pang typically has a long line (though quick moving), and I see now why: their sandwiches are delicious. The shrimp sandwich I had was mild; the shrimp were perfectly cooked and the bread was nice and crunchy. I also ordered the Cambodian slaw which ended up too spicy for my liking, but I imagine would be popular with people who enjoy spicy foods. My colleague had one of the meat sandwiches and said it was fantastic.
Love the quinoa bread they use in the banh mi! I got the cauliflower one and it was delicious, filling, and not too heavy.
Solid sandwich! I love that they're not shy with the carrots. I'm also not a fan of mayo so it was awesome that they offer a chili yogurt option. Location is fun - we took our sandwiches over to The Highline to eat during the golden hour. I definitely recommend the experience to anyone visiting from out of town like we are.
i thought i liked banh mi until i tried this place
A friend recommended this to us so we made sure to try it when we were at Chelsea Market.
We love Asian food in general and especially love Banh Mi. They have quite a few options with unique meats and even veggie/vegan options.
We went with the ginger barbeque brisket banh mi and it was amazing. It was one of the best (if not the best) banh mis I've ever had. The meat was perfect and everything about it was delicious.
There's no seating here, so you can get your food to go and find a seat elsewhere at the market.
We tried several other places at Chelsea Market and this was by far our favorite. I recommend checking it out!
Fast service is one of its benefits. The food was fresh and good. Also, the price was reasonable.
I went to Chelsea market on a Sunday to show my mom that was visiting. I ordered on ritual while my mom ordered somewhere else. I expected to take at least 10 minutes for my good to be ready. The food was ready by the time we made our way over to pick up (a couple minutes). The food was delicious. I got the Five Spice Pork Belly sandwich (quinoa) and a side of grilled seasonal veggies. It was mouth watering good.
Food is great but apparently they can’t cut the sandwich in half... sounds a little ridiculous considering they have to slice the bread to actually make the sandwich 🙄. The girls explanation made zero sense as well.
Bruh. How did anyone rate this one star. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I would give it 6/5 stars if I could. So different to any other sandwich I've ever had. They taste so so good. Pretty filling. Super fresh. Grabbing sandwiches to go and then strolling the High Line with your out of this world delicious sandwich and your beautiful 6'8 asian friend is honestly so nice.
