The restaurant is dope with lots going on, excellent music and comfortable seating. Great for large groups and celebrations, definitely something to be noted as that’s hard to find in Manhattan without breaking the bank.
Service was awesome, never felt like we were rushed to finish or give up the table. Drinks came quick and food was sizzling hot.
Food, food was great, was more comfort/family style Italian. The thin crust pizza was good but just felt too thin, almost a little cheap thin. Go in on Tuesdays for an all day happy hour as well. I think for the price and being in Manhattan this is a great find.
New York has hundreds of Italian restaurants claiming to be the best, but this place can take all the bragging rights!
Meatballs are tender and delicious and can be served in either traditional Mariana or vodka sauce. The double garlic bread was absolutely delicious, super cheesy and full of garlic!
The Sunday gravy with home made rigatoni and meatballs tasted just like some ones grandma made them! But the chicken parm stole my heart with saucy spaghetti.
To end it all the ricotta doughnuts were the most perfect sweet !
I really liked it here. The food was well prepared. The service was warm and prompt. The place was fun although fairly quiet on a Sunday evening. I think it would be a good choice to come here with a few people so u could also order a pizza to share! Only two of us so no pizza!
We really enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. Walking in at opening allowed us a table for 4. Happy hour drink prices but no food. We ordered entrees and each of us loved our choices. I went with the basic bolognese and it was really good and the pasta was sooo delicious. Others in our party enjoyed lasagna, orecchiette con broccoli rapa & the ravioli. The atmosphere is rustic but cozy & fun. I would absolutely recommend.
Every single thing was delicious! Starting off with a pizza. Then basically almost sampling most of their menu. Everything was super delicious. The service is impeccable! Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and speed is just outstanding! Fantastic evening to enjoy with good friends and have excellent food together
Firstly, really great food here but the service was far too quick with food spinning out the kitchen on to your table. I wonder if that’s because I’m used to a more relaxed European service, but it seems here was focused on being really quick which meant it felt a bit less relaxing and more like a fast-casual place might be. The music playing (trap/grind) felt like an odd choice for this restaurant but I guess it’s in an eclectic location but I can’t help feeling it was the choice for the staff rather than chosen for the ambience of a neighbourhood Italian. Again, can’t fault the food which is what counts.
Food tasted great (I got Chef's Ragu, friend got a Pepperoni Pie) and was very filling. They nail a thin crust pizza really well. They forgot my friend's club soda though (they didn't place it in the bill at least).
Overall atmosphere is good and cozy, but the music is on the louder side. I'd probably tone down the volume down 15-20%.
Great spot for super thin crust pizza… the upside down and vodka is perfect! Tuesday night specials for any pizza +2 beers = 25$. Can’t say eating in NYC is too expensive with that!
Kind servers and they opened early to accommodate us arriving early. Was playing Dr Dre chronic 2001 and I loved it.
Thinnest crust on a pizza I’ve ever had and I loved it! We had the upside down cheese pie and fried zucchini matchsticks both of which were very good. Very lively place on a Friday night and close to a ton of great bars and music venues.
