I don't even know where to begin with how amazing our experience was. After our conference with mediocre conference food, we came here after researching online reviews and this one kept jumping out at us. After a rocky arrival with a bike rider running in to our uber car, the owner was amazingly comforting. We got there early on a Thursday evening and was able to get a street side view that was amazing to be able to watch the traffic. Service was attentive enough that we never had to ask for anything, but also distant enough so the experience was intimate and social. The food was amazing and while I usually have a hard time finding a wine that is sweet enough for my taste, they had enough of a selection that I was able to find a sparkling white wine that was great. We got an appetizer, meal, and dessert and my only issue was having enough room to finish it all. :) I will definitely be back when I return on family vacation with my husband and have already suggested it to my parents for their visit. By the time we left, it had filled up. suggestion is get there as early as possible after 5:00 pm because by 6:00-6:30 there wasn't an open seat.
What a fantastic find in NYC! The food was extraordinary - everyone at my table greatly enjoyed their dish. The prices are also very reasonable for New York City. I was very impressed with the service - they were attentive, charming, and even offered to make the dish any way that we would want. It was a very quiet and cozy atmosphere for a Saturday night - great place to go if you don't want to be shouting at your dinner guest all night! Also, save room for dessert - the tiramisu was to die for!
Fantastic Italian food!! I have dined here more that 5 times and I just love it. The owner is often in the restaurant and he always welcomes us. He and his staff are so passionate about their wines and entrees. The caprese salad is to die for! Also the fish specials are so delicious. Great atmosphere as well.

Outstanding! What a great place. The food was amazing, we had an absolutely lovely wine, and not enough nice things can be said about our waiter and the service in general. On the next trip back to NYC, it will be the first restaurant we go to.
Wonderfully Delicious Our compliments to the CHEF! Our friends have been informed. Such a wide variety of menu choices we were challenged....However, every Item we selected- dinner, wine & desserts were delectable!......Professional & Authentic Italian Staff.....Perfectly Romantic Evening! We will definitely return to dine here during our Spring NY trip. Viva Italy!
We happen to be staying in the Murray hill area and were looking for neighborhood simple food place. All of the reviews were good so why not? It was perfect. Small and cozy. Red brick walls and class Italian out of a movie vibe. Not crowded but busy. Just was comfortable
Food was very good. Hefty glass of wine for ten bucks. We had the scallops appetizer. Maybe the only miss it tasted good but they over cooked scallops. Still good. Easily fixed.
We even had mushroom ravioli and they nicely gave me half order or carbonara and Ragu. The ravioli my kid said was great. The carbonara was food but it’s hard to really do right. The ragu was great. Simple. Homemade. Perfect.
90 dolllars including tip and carry out desert. Very reasonable. Friendly and nice. Would highly recommend

My husband and I stumbled on this restaurant with our daughter and son-in-law on our first visit to New York after our first choice being full BUT this was just what we were looking for and the four of us ate delicious meals with wine for under $200. The maitre d and staff were incredible and when our daughter could not make up her mind between 2 choices, they said we will give you both! Really lovely, quaint place and wonderful last dinner in NYC!
Great atmosphere. Very friendly and accommodating staff. (Benny was the best!!) Nice wine selection and tips to pick the right one. We got a reserve chianti that was delicious. Burrata appetizer was amazing, as was the carpaccio. My stepfather loved the sauce on his linguini pescatore. Mom got a filet mignon that was larger than we expected, with lots of veggies. I got osso bucco over risotto that also had a delicious flavor. Homemade tira misu was fantastic. Very pleasant dining experience overall. Glad I found this place.
First, they made a homemade Italian dressing for me for my salad. Their lasagna was out of the world (pasta would have been better off it were homemade). Their tiramisu was there best I've ever had. So light and creamy, melt in your mouth. I will go back just for dessert before I leave the city.
