For those who don't know Goa is a popular touristy beach state at the west coast of India. So this place is like a fusion of Indian and Mexican food.
It's Indian laccha paratha served taco style. They offer some interesting flavor combos from
Chicken Chorizo Paratha Taco to lamb shoulder taco. It's interesting and fun. A must try.
To be fair I only tried this place at smorgasburg. But it was quite good. And they had three big pork roasts going on a spit next to their tent so they get style points for that.
Great concept, parata work really well as taco shells. The taco sleeve they give in lieu of a plate is great for photos, but can be a bit messy while eating. Would definitely recommend, tastes great and an interesting spin on tacos.
Asian inspired tacos were really good. I got a savory mildly spicy beef taco with onions and cilantro. I also tasted the pulled pork taco which was kinda sweet. I liked the pulled pork taco over my beef taco - personal preference - but both were definitely good. A big plus for me is the coke's they sell which being produced outside the USA was made with better quality ingredients
Good place to grab a quick bite. Fun concept fusing different flavors to create a new take on the taco. Would have liked it more if the Recado Rojo Lamb Shoulder had more flavor to it...

The paneer taco tasted like pesto, yummy. And the tofu was spicy! But great. Margaritas were delicious and service was very friendly.
The taco shell is definitely one of the most different and tastiest shell I've had. Think and oily and crispy and crunchy at the same time. Good price and huge portion. Try the lamb shoulder and chorizo. The bar in the back is also nice and cheap.
Amazing flavor like you've never had before...
Goa taco is tiny, like eating at a food truck that has counter seating.
Simple menu of paratha tacos. Every one of them are fantastic. Veg and non-veg options available.
Everything is house made and you can taste the care that goes into every flavor in each and every bite.
Guac is solid and so are the margaritas when they have them.
Do not miss this little gem, you will become a regular.
Easily the best taco in New York! I came here twice even I had spend only 2 weeks in New York! Taco is oversized and flavour is amazing!!!!! Must try the pork belly taco, it's delicious!!!!!!
Comfortable small location, amazing selection of paratha tacos served in a convenient taco holder. The Pork Belly taco was exceptional!
These tacos are definitely unique and also very delicious- it's a very small space though with only 2 guys working the shop so the wait time for your food is generally longer than say Essex Taqueria. While the flavors are great the tacos are definitely too small for their price. I guess the price comes with the experience. They serve their tacos in cardboard envelopes- I've never been to a taco place that does that. Their chips are good too and they offer water but don't expect a place to sit as it's often cramped with 5 patrons inside.
Delicious and just amazingness! The pork belly will just melt in your mouth and coat it with porky goodness. There is just a hint of spice but don't worry there is scotch bonnet hot sauce in case you want an extra kick in the mouth. The lamb taco has also super tender and flavorful lamb. It's cooked very well and there is a nice blend of flavors. There is just a bit of crunch from the eggplant salsa and the tzatziki adds creaminess to it. The prices might seem high at first but don't be fooled. You will be full and want to get seconds. The owner is super sweet and you can see the passion and love.
