This place is STUNNING! The flowers are so pretty, it makes you feel like you’re sitting in a garden- probably cause you are! The wait staff was very nice and attentive. The food and drinks came out SO fast!!! The prosciutto pizza and the Nutella calzone were delicious! Can’t wait to come back!!

Decent housetop outfit with to some degree more established trendy person/millennial group. It's in a similar structure as the theater so if there's a holding up line ensure you check if it's for the housetop or theater. The spot is very open and has sort of a memorable/natural arrangement. Extraordinary beverages and delectable nourishment. There's even a spiritualist ready.

This is one of my go to rooftops in NY! It has a beautiful setting with the plants and the flowers and the food is usually very good. I also love the cocktail options.

The McKittrick Hotel isn’t a hotel at all, but the home of the immersive theatre Sleep No More and their latest offering Flight, which just got a rave review from The Times.  This unusual place is located way west in Chelsea between 10th and 11th Avenues on 27th street nestled among the art galleries.

Perched atop the McKittrick Hotel that is best known for housing the theatrical production Sleep No More is a hidden gem called Gallow Green. Fauna and flora drape themselves across refurbished wooden beams, creating an air of rustic warmth that is not especially common in this part of the city.

After work drinks? This chelsea garden rooftop is the place to go! In love with the green-ish ambiance and the fact that there are actual benches where you could sit without having a table. Grab a drink from the bar and voilà!

Gallow Green is a rooftop garden oasis in the midst of New York's concrete jungle. Located atop Chelsea's McKittrick Hotel (a fictional venue, I later learned!), and right next to The High Line, this restobar has a somewhat whimsical air, and as you step through the doors onto the sprawling terrace, you're taken aback by just how much foliage surrounds you. Truth be told, the unexpectedness of it all made my jaw drop.

The terrace is split into two sections, separated in the middle by a lush, green archway. While food is served on one side of the rooftop, the other is strictly for drinks only. There is no table service for drinks, which means you have to line up at the bar to grab your beverages and barware. Drinks were also on the pricier end, but the cocktails were impressive.

Still, Gallow Green's chilled vibe is clearly popular with its trendy and good-looking patrons. The crowd is young and diverse, and the venue offers a very romantic setting, boasting some stunning views of the city.

Make sure you get the camera out for that perfect golden hour shot at sunset.

Word of caution: The venue is popular and fills up pretty quickly, so I recommend getting there early to nab a good seat. There is also usually a lineup to get in, followed by a wait for the single elevator (unless you want to walk up seven flights of stairs). But once you're up there, trust me, it'll be worth it.

I saw  Sleep No More  about a year ago and it blew me away. So when I heard about them opening their rooftop, I jumped on the chance of returning to The McKittrich Hotel and checking it out after Atera . That was about a month ago and the online reservation required a $20 ticket which would be taken off the total bill . However, when I checked the  RESERVATION   site today, it seemed like  cover is dropped  but timed rsvp is still required. If you haven’t seen this live version of The Tragedy of Macbeth:   Sleep No More ,  where actors wonder through this abandoned 6 story hotel as you chase after them from scene to scene. Full of interactions, surprises and thrill, I highly, highly recommend it!!! Part railroad/garden similar to The High Line and part jazzy/chill roof. The drinks were quite strong and the crowd was pretty laid back. I asked for a cocktail with egg whites but they only had the ones listed. I choose the  Pimms Other C

Been here twice cause I love the vibe! I personally preferred when I went last Autumn when it’s a little bit colder! I had the brunch buffet which is $72 per person! Location: It is located in Chelsea near Highline. It’s outdoor rooftop seating which I love!! I prefer when I went last Autumn because it’s much colder, this summer is too hot! Lol there is a lot of plants that are instagram worthy! Service: they are super nice and attentive! They will assist you on how the buffet works. Food: Everything was delicious! It’s brunch buffet so there are assortments of breads, bagel, yogurt, spreads, salads, sweets. My personal favorite is their Carving station which includes the PORCHETTA: i love it, its a roast pork and the skin is so crispy! The meat is tender and flavorful. Another favorite is WHOLE SALMON: the salmon is so good and fresh! Flavored it well with seasoning! Mimosas were amazing too! Price rating: 8/10, it was not bad for food that you will get. $72 per person Definitely will come back here once it gets colder!! My fave is the carving station!

A beautiful design, ambiance and setting to grab a rooftop drink, especially after enjoying Sleep No More. We happened to go before the evening rush on Sunday and were able to get in without a reservation. The drinks were absolutely delicious. I got the West Side Beekeeper - a mix of mezcal, watermelon, hot honey, lime and a decorative chile. The service was wonderful and efficient. Just a phenomenal spot for drinks!

We went there after our dinner for a couple of drinks. Probably the worst fries I've ever had, over-fried! But the cocktails and atmosphere are remarkable. You feel like you're in a garden on a rooftop. Would go there to try other items on the menu.

Perfect for a romantic outing with the wife or just a fancy drinks night out with the boys. Drinks are awesome, don't believe me, try any of their fruity margaritas, or even their "sleep no more" mix. Food was also very tasty.

An enriching experience in ways I did not expect. Came here with my long time partner who has a knack for exploration. The menu and drinks are festive and the environment is welcoming. After closing out our tab we walked around a bit, people watched, and eventually found a bench in the corner by the edge where nobody else dared come and enjoyed a laugh or two. While the drinks were not especially to our taste as we ordered randomly the chocolate mouse made up for it and the overall escapade was quite superb. Bring a sweater because it can get a bit chilly!

Beautiful rooftop restaurant and bar The building is steeped in history and the quirky decor and music make this venue memorable. I went with a friend, however there are some simply stunning tables and booths in old railway style out buildings. There are picturesque walkways and whole walls with plants to take photos! I loved the food - I recommend the crudités for a healthy huge starter and the salmon was super tasty and cooked to perfection Service was fast and friendly

Gallow Green was pretty good. It has a great speakeasy vibe and the staffs were kind and friendly. You go up to the second floor using the speakeasy vibe elevator. The setting is gorgeous as well. But there was a delay in service where the drinks were served much later, almost when our dishes were done. They explained that there was a staff shortage but I still think it could’ve been better handled. I really liked the Shaved Brussels Sprouts Caesar Salad, but the Boeuf Bourguignon was very mediocre.

Lovely place for hangout and to chill. Located on a 6th floor as part of a hotel/theatre complex. Lot of effort on the decor which is appreciated. The food and drinks menu was simple not complicated but little pricey. Loved the jazz music in the background. Reservation is recommended.

Great rooftop garden vibe. Perfect for a date night. Very pretty area with a garden. Did not try much of the food but seems like a nice speakeasy place. Tried the gallow green cocktail which was really nice,

This magical speakesy-esque rooftop restaurant; has amazing ambiance, on point food and fantastic service. The Fattoush salad is to die for, as well as their Flat iron Steak. It is the perfect stop before or after a show at The McKittrick Hotel. PS: they will let you right in if you have a Sleep No More stamp!
