Was here in '96 '02 and last week. Different bar staff but same craic. Good food, good beer and great laughs. Cheers dudes, from the 2 brummies.

A great 4-floor Irish pub with great food. We had the pot pie and beef stew. Would definitely get both dishes again. For a place adjacent to Times Square, it didn’t seem too touristy!

I came here with my husband for dinner around 7:30pm on Saturday night. Despite the prime time, there was no wait and we were seated right away. The waitress was very attentive and I had questions and small requests with my order but she answered took care of each one of them precisely. She went above and beyond, checking with the kitchen and correcting the order for me when I told her about my dietary restriction. On top of her great service, to our surprise the food was beyond regular bar food! I ordered a salad with shrimp and the shrimps were huge!! My husband ordered club sandwich and he said his was very good too. Overall we were very pleased and content with the food and service.

We stopped for apps and drinks after a show and sat on the rooftop, definitely a repeat location next time we're in town. Not quite as Irish fare as I would like but the food was great. 1st floor is a dark bar, 2nd floor is more restaurant like seating, 3rd floor is upscale bar vibe and 4th floor is rooftop bar.

This restaurant was really neat. We ate in the heated structure right on the street. We ordered the Playwrights Signature Chicken Sandwich and it was fabulous, so was the French Onion Soup. We ordered two of their holiday/winter drinks. Delicious, strong, and festive. Service was slightly slow for not being that busy, but it was worth it.

Came by this location late at night after escaping Times Square (what a nightmare). It was a neat place to wind down after a show, and have a drink with a decent view over part of NYC. The server was brisk and efficient; not unfriendly but eager to get the placed closed up, as it was around last-call. The mixed drink was well poured, and their beer list was pretty decent as well.

One of the best most unique pubs in the theater district. I knew the first day we passed by on the way to check in that we would have to have a meal here and it did not disappoint! We were seated by the 3rd floor window and it was just a warm welcoming atmosphere. There was a party going on at the other end of the building on our level but we were made to feel right at home. The meal was delicious and overall a really enjoyable dining experience. The staff were all attentive and friendly even though they were pretty busy that evening. I wish we could have had more than one meal here. If we ever visit NYC again we will definitely be eating here again!

Nice pub with good selection of food, located right off time square so convenient if you’re looking for something quick to eat before heading onto anywhere else.

A spacious ground + one floor pub, we were lucky enough to catch the last few minutes of a live music performance that simply uplifted our moods! We ordered a quick meal of munchies, fish fingers and a chicken sandwich with fries, a a Baileys shot for dessert! Also tried their Halloween special pumpkin ale.

I enjoyed the atmosphere, busy but not too noisy!

Great pub to stop by before going to a broadway show. Usually not busy early in the day and drinks are half the price of broadway, still expect to pay $10 for a beer and $12 for a shot, but that's to be expected. Super friendly service and clean place.
