Went here for brunch with friends and a toddler. The food was excellent. The space is really nice. The service was very attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.
We arrived at Rosie's and told the host we would only be 8 people, then proceeded to grow to 23 people without giving any warning to Rosie's. The staff was still as accommodating as humanly possible after being thrown a curve ball like that and our server Jasmine handled everyone with grace and enthusiasm. I will always bring my friends and family back to a place that is this professional with a fantastic menu.
Excellent food and service! We happened to walk around NYC and decided to stop here for dinner, what a pleasant spot for delicious Mexican food in the city! Delicious guacamole! The pork taco, chicken, and fish taco were all wonderful. Great crisp on the fish taco. Maybe little spicy, but not too hot. The street corn is wonderfully seasoned. It also happened to be my birthday when we went and happened to mention it to our server, while we didn’t plan on dessert they brought us an ice cream to split. It was wonderful! We’ve been back a few times since, it’s our new go to spot for Mexican in the city!
Absolutely solid place. Three of us went to dinner on a Saturday at 7pm. We sat at the bar.
Food is absolutely incredible. It’s so simple and just perfect. Guac was thick w a kick, same thing w the salsa - not watery but thick and spectacular. I would absolutely come back.
Enjoyed the overall vibe and the service! I tried their tacos and chips + guac, and I thought their guac and salsa was decent but not anything special, especially for the price. Their tacos were quite flavorful on the other hand, and I recommend the shrimp and beef tacos.
The best. We live overseas where decent Mexican food is impossible to find. As native Californians, this is a fate worse than death for us. Rosie’s is only a 6 hour flight from our current home, and honestly the airfare is worth it for the chilaquiles. Hell, we should do it every weekend. The tacos are also great. We very much appreciate the family friendly nature of the restaurant as well.
Loved their birria tacos and the comfortable atmosphere. Although the guacamole, chips and salsa were a little expensive I still enjoyed them. In Texas most of the Mexican restaurants provide free chips and salsa. They have a limited selection of beer, but I was happy with the one they had.
From Arizona, familiar with true Mexican. This is the freshest Mexican I have EVER had. Recommend to anyone looking for authentic fresh Mexican.
Incredibly solid with good flavors and reasonable (for this neighborhood) prices. Portions are not grossly huge, and the dishes aren’t drowning in grease or cheese. This isn’t tex-mex and thank god for it. The ambience is great on a summer day with their mixture of indoor/outdoor seating.
We came early right before the usual dinner time on a Friday. Service was great and the food was absolutely amazing. Our waiter was very friendly and informative on some of the dish recommendations!
Nice touch on chopping up the Elote for convenience. The interior is lively as well!
I had the cauliflower and shrimp tacos!! OMG soooo delicious I ordered 2 more. Wow! The best veggie and shrimp tacos I've ever had!! Fresh hand made tortillas right in front of you too. The service was excellent.
Delicious food, and lovely outdoor-sy atmosphere. I had the fish tacos, they were deilicious!! Highly recommend it!
